Chapter Forty-Eight - Daydra saves herself -

Daydra POV

I left them to take Loclyn to the springs, I’ll catch up to them soon. I needed to speak to Ariel and make sure Tommy has told her or at least attempted to and because she needs to come with us to the springs to help Loclyn. I looked everywhere but couldn’t find her inside the castle, maybe she is already at the springs I’ll link my father and ask. Sure enough she was already there and then I remember she can’t be in human form for long. I have to fix that curse of her I tell myself as I run out the castle and towards the spring.

I’m almost there when I catch a glimpse of something out of the corner of my eye. It was a reaction to stop running and step back to dodge whatever it was coming right for my head. It just missed me and as it flew past, I saw what it was, a throwing axe. What the fuck is all I could think.
