MISHA STOOD UP bolt upright while retaining eye contact with her sister. “Kayla Cortez is here? SOREN OPENED THE door of the manager’s office and true enough, he saw Kayla sitting behind the manager’s desk, wearing a pink polo shirt and a cream-colored slacks, tinkering with her cell phone. He was already in this room a few minutes ago reading some reports, but got out to get a cup of coffee.
