They stepped fully into the wide hall, and the pressure in the air grew heavier.

Prove you belong here—or break.

It was not spoken, but it was clearly understood.

Then— Everything fell apart.

From behind Philipa and Rowan, legs suddenly gave out. Several new students collapsed to the floor with frightened cries. Others screamed and turned around, pushing and stumbling over each other as they ran toward the gate, completely frightened.

Philipa turned her head slightly, watching them flee in terror. Now she understood.

This was not normal intimidation from trained warriors.

“Mom! Please—don’t leave me!”The little boy clung desperately to his mother’s hands, his small fingers shaking as tears streamed down his face. His cries echoed through the cold air, broken and helpless.“Please, Mom… take me with you,” Draven sobbed. “I’ll be good. I promise.”His mother’s face was hard. Cold. Empty. She tried to pull her hands free, but Draven held on with all his strength.“I don’t want you anymore,” she snapped suddenly, her voice sharp and cruel. “You’re a burden. Mr. Mark’s Office – Late NightMr. Mark walked briskly through the quiet corridor, his footsteps sharp against the stone floor. His heart was still pounding from the encounter at Draven’s hostel. That boy… No—that Alpha. He pushed open the door to his office and slammed it shut behind him. The room smelled of old books and ink. A single lantern flickered on his desk, throwing long shadows across the walls.“Get in here,” he snapped.Three students stepped forward nervously—the same ones who had reported the disturbance. Their heads were bowed, shoulders tense.“Do you know what you just did?” Mr. Mark barked.“N–No, sir,” one of them stammered.“You wasted my time,” he hissed. “You stirred trouble where none should exist.”“But sir,” another student said quickly, “we clearly heard fighting. Screams. Crashing sounds—”“Enough!” Mr. Mark slammed his palm on the desk, making them flinch. “This academy does not investigate rumors without proof. You had no witnesses. No dead bodies. No off

The hostel was quiet. Too quiet.Philipa lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling. Her body aches feom the training had faded away, thanks to the healing halve, but her mind refused to rest. The fact thet the perfume was slowly down her healing abilities is worrisome, till, she needs to keep on using it. Every muscle felt relaxed when she moved, yet sleep would not come. Draven had alerted her on a possible attack on her soon, and that unsettled her. The men world is more competitive than she imagined. An attack on her just because she won fair, and square?. Suddenly, the room felt tensed... Something felt… wrong. She slowly sat up.The moonlight slipped through the window, casting pale lines across the floor. The curtains stirred slightly, even though there was no wind. Her wolf stirred uneasily inside her.Danger.Before she could react, the door creaked open.Three shadows slipped into the room. Her heart slammed violently against her chest.“Found him,” a low voice whispered.Phil

Night had fully settled over Ashbourne Academy. The hostels were quiet, but the silence felt heavy—like the academy itself was watching.Following the descriptions on the paper, Draven walked alone through a narrow stone corridor hidden behind the main training hall. Few students even knew this place existed. Torches lined the walls, their flames flickering weakly, casting long shadows that stretched and twisted like living things. His boots echoed softly as he moved.“This place is odd,” he muttered under his breath. Suddenly a sharp pain exploded in his brain, clutching his head, the touch fell from his hand as he groans. "What is happening to me?!" Blurry vision flashes through his mind, as the pain increases. The backside of a she-wolf is being showed, her length hairs, waves freely. Slowly she turns smiling, while beckoning on him to come closer. The vision ended swiftly as it's came, and the sudden pain fades away. Still clutching his head, he slowly stood up. Looks around an

Night slowly fell over the academy. The lights along the stone pathways flickered on one by one, casting long shadows across the buildings. Whispers filled the air—everyone was still talking about what happened on the training field.Inside one of the senior hostels, a door slammed open. Darkson stepped in.His silver-blue eyes were sharp, burning with restrained fury. The moment he entered, the room went completely silent.Marvin sat on the bed, his face swollen, bruised, and wrapped in crude bandages. Dried blood still stained his shirt. Two of his friends stood nearby, clearly nervous.Darkson’s gaze locked onto his brother "…Who did this to you?” he asked calmly. That calmness was far more terrifying than shouting.Marvin clenched his fists. “That newbie. Jordan.”Darkson took a slow step forward.“A newbie,” he repeated softly. “Did this?”Marvin’s jaw tightened. “He humiliated me in front of everyone. And Draven interfered.”At the mention of Draven’s name, Darkson’s eyes darke
