Eero's perspective
"You wanna get rid of me after cheating?! Guess what! You're still stuck with me because something's wrong with your rejection! If you continue to hurt my wolf, then you're leaving no choice but to damn end you!" I shouted at Cohen, but my wolf was so weak that I couldn't shift and my claws wouldn't even come out. My father pulled me away from Cohen, and then gave me a sharp slap! While I held my cheek and looked at him in disbelief, he proceeded to punch me in the gut, causing me to crouch in pain. It took me a few moments to recover from the shock of these unexpected beatings."D-Dad, will this matter end the same way as always? Will I still be the one to be punished? Even when it's clear that I'm the victim here?" Wearing a bitter smile, I asked with a shaking voice. I looked up to stop a tear from falling. Yet it ended up escaping from my eyes. With his jaw clenched, Alpha Ameo, my father, charged me with a dagger look. It felt like my heart sunk to the bottom of my stomach at that moment"That doesn't mean you can hurt your sister! You shouldn't have acted so recklessly. You are older than her-""You should be the bigger person? You should show more understanding to her?" I chuckled bitterly as I cut him off and uttered those words he had repeated thousands of times. "Will you look at that, Ameo? She's gone too far because you're being way too nice to her. She's not showing the least respect for you, her Alpha!" My mother, Luna Vera, asked. I glanced at her and then back to my father, waiting for him to say something to defend me. Yet I got nothing but silence. "Cohen's my mate! Serra knows that, yet she seduced and fucked him! How am I supposed to be the bigger person and have any understanding to her, Alpha? This isn't as simple as her making me the scapegoat like she always does, or her messing with my favorite dress. She is literally ruining my life! Yet you're still taking her side!" "What do you want me to do with Serra then? You want me to tie her in the plaza, whipping and humiliating her in public?" "Yes! That is exactly what I want!" I shouted back at Alpha Ameo even when I knew that he was just being sarcastic. "What? No! You can't do that to me, daddy!" Serra snuggled closer to our mother, who quickly wrapped her arm around the delicate shoulder of her younger daughter. "You will not order such a thing, Ameo!" Luna Vera sounded unwavering. She then turned to look at me. "Have you gone mad, Eero? Why would you demand such a harsh punishment against your sister? It's just a man. Do you really have to go this far, huh?""Would you say the same thing if I seduced Serra's mate, mom?! Would you defend me the way you are defending that bitch now?" "Eero, enough! You don't talk to your mother like that! Neither should you talk about my daughter that way!" Alpha Ameo put on his Alpha airs, trying to make my wolf cower. "I'm your daughter too! Why do you adore Serra so much but treat me like I'm not your flesh and bones? What else should I do to earn the same amount of love from you and mom? Why am I always the neglected one? Is it because I always say yes? Is it because I always give in to whatever you want from me?""Mom, you asked me not to attend the prom, so I wouldn't take away the spotlight from Serra. You know how badly I wanted to go to my prom night?! Yet I said yes and let her have the night. You asked me to stop doing ballet because Serra was having a hard time catching up with me. To that, I said yes too. What's next?" Rage got the best of me as I looked at all of them, catching my breath. "Ah, I think I know what you're gonna ask from me. You're gonna order me to give my mate to her, right?" "Enough, Eero! Just give him up. You know they love each other." I remained silent as I struggled to bear with the pain that I was feeling all at once. "Cohen will marry Serra. His pack will unite with ours, so that we'll get rid of the threat from the Blood Moon Pack?" "He can go ahead and marry Serra if that's what he wants. But I won't let his pack be united with ours," I gnashed my teeth while uttering these words. Once I became the Alpha of this pack, I would find a way to protect my pack without that cheater's help. Luna Vera chuckled at hearing my words."It looks like you didn't get it, Eero. Let me get straight with you. It's Serra instead of you that will be the heir of your father. Serra will be the next Alpha of Moon River Pack!"My world shattered into pieces as she gave me a deadly blow! This was the second time I got betrayed in a single day! By my MATE and my FAMILY!Eero's PerspectiveI didn't want to get up from the bed. The softness of the mattress was tempting me and on top of that, my eyelids felt heavy to open. My mind had already agreed that I'd stay in bed for another hour after I checked the time when I felt my stomach churning. It stopped me from my track, but chose to shrug it off until a squeaky feeling came over me and I couldn't find the urge to throw up.I run fast to the bathroom and vomit whatever is left in my stomach. After rinsing my mouth, I checked my reflection in the mirror."But I don't look sick." I checked my temperature too and I don't feel feverish."Did I eat something last night that could upset my stomach?" I whispered to myself. I opened the drawer to grab an ointment that I could use for my tummy when I saw an unopened box of tampons.I rushed out of the bathroom to grab my phone on the bedside table."I'm three weeks delayed with my period. My period n
ClaudiusSeeing that the tracker that I asked Caspian to chip on Octavio's skin after he was locked in the cell was moving towards the forest. I got up from my seat and prepared myself to come after him to get my pup back and bring Perseus to safety."I don't get it," Caspian said."This part of this forest where Octavio is heading to is a dead end," he hummed. I looked down at Caspian."What do you mean by it's a dead end?""Alpha, there is no escape route. Octavio knows the Regulus territory better than anyone. It's impossible that he isn't aware that when he run to do this forest, our deltas would easily corner him, and avoid being captured by our deltas. The only thing left to do is to jump from the cliff."My lips parted in shock."I know what that old hog is about to do," I said.Eero grabbed my arm to make me face her. "You do? What is it?"But how can I tell her Octavio's evil
Eero's PerspectiveWhenever Perseus sleeps with me. I would wake up to his tiny arms tightly wrapped around my waist while his face was buried in my arm. It's the muscle cramps and the numbing sensation that wakes me up earlier than usual, and so when I didn't feel him using my arm as his pillow, I instinctively called for his name before I could open my arm."Mate, shh. He's still sleeping," Claudius said in a low voice.I couldn't help but smile and silently giggle as I saw how Perseus had wrapped his arm around his father's upper body."He's hugging me so tightly that I could barely breathe, but I can't dare whine. I like feeling this little pup in my arm," he said to me.Perseus looks tiny in Claudius' arms, way more fragile looking compared to when he is in my arms."Don't move. I'll take a picture of you two," I said to him and slowly got up, moving carefully so the noise wouldn't wake up our son.Cla
Eero's PerspectiveCaspian and Miguel cleared their throat in a not-so-subtle way in an attempt to make me and Claudius break away from the hug that we were sharing."I think I caught a cold. I can't stop coughing," Caspian said again while he continued to force himself to cough. I chuckled and attempted to push Claudius away."They are hinting that we should stop flirting in front of them," I whispered to Claudius."I don't give a damn about them, Eero." "Why don't you two search for your fated mate or second chance mate so you won't be jealous anymore?" Claudius asked Caspian."Did you think that I'm not trying to do that? I'm desperately looking for my fate mate, dude, but maybe if you'd stop dragging my ass in different places then I'll be able to find her."Our eyes then gathered to look at Miguel, who was enjoying his toasted marshmallow. I'm in no rush to look for her. It's called fated mates, when the timing i
Eero's Perspective"I had to come here to tell you that dinner is waiting for us," Claudius said while his eyes sharply traced the newly-founded distance between me and Miguel."Oh, yes, because we don't have enough omegas around the realm which is why the Alpha picked us himself for dinner," Miguel whispered sarcastically."Were you trying to say something, Blackthorn?" Miguel grinned and shook his head."Did you hear me say something?" Claudius glared at Miguel even more."I was starving, I could eat a whole cow. I hope you prepared a feast for me, Claudius?" Miguel flashed a teasing smile at my mate."It's the least you could offer after I did the favor that you asked me years ago.""Every meal in the realm is considered a feast, but if you're craving for a particular dish that wasn't served at the buffet. You could request that from our private chef. They will accommodate any of your cravings.""Ah
Eero's PerspectiveI narrowed my eyes at Claudius and hit his chest. My mate laughed at me before he pulled me closer to his chest. He gently sniffed the scent of my hair and then I felt him kiss my forehead."Your legs are still shaking," he whispered laughing. I raised my hand to hit him again, but he skillfully caught it. His fingers caged my wrist and pinned it back on the bed, within a blink of an eye. Claudius was back on top of me. His manhood poking my thighs."Let me rest, will you, please? I missed you too. I miss making love to you, but I'll end up limping if we do it again. I'm sore down there.""Let me check," he said. Claudius moved fast down. My lips twitched in pain and the muscles in my face twisted."It's all red and swollen. Taking a cold bath will soothe you. Should I wash you? Or do you want to take a nap first?" He asked. The sun outside was slowly leaving the sky. In an hour, it'll be dinner time.&nb
