Chapter 126- The Revelation I

Killian sat straighter in his chair. His mind was still reeling about having a twin.

“The babies… we discovered that they were fertilized traditionally.” She informed him.

“What do you mean?”

“She got pregnant traditionally. The foetus didn’t form outside but inside her uterus.” Seeing that Killian still looked confused, she spelt it out. “My guess is that she had unprotected sex before the last insemination but the dates were too close and the foetus were too small so it was hard to read.”

“Does that mean….?”

Killian was speechless for a couple of minutes.

“What I am saying is that the babies might not be yours. I-”

“They are mine.” Killian cut in. “Uhm… Thank you, Melissa. But I have to go now.” He left her office and made a beeline towards his car.

In the car, his mind was in turmoil. He stared out to see that a cloud had formed. Someone up there was definitely punishing him for his misdeeds.
