In the darkness, a girl was sitting wrapped in a snow white blanket. The blanket wasn't white in color, but became so because of the constant snow falling on that highest peak of the mountain.
Rubbing her palms togather to generate heat the girl softly spoke, "It's okay... Now you are at the peak and you will be safe."
Taking a deep breath she again spoke, trying to console her hanging heart, "You will... you will be alive. Yes, I will be ali..."
Just then she saw a group of people who were drunk passing by closer to the place she had seeked shelter in.
Her heart raced.
She tried to bury herself deeply into the snow, yet her fate was cruel.
One of them had a dog who immediately sensed the smell and ran towards her.
