What?!

Three days later

In a luxurious mansion seen so many cars parked in the yard. Meanwhile, within the luxurious residence, many invited guests had already arrived. All those present were wearing formal attire, so they have not come from the lower middle class, but they were absolutely rich people.

"Shit! I hate this situation!” muttered a Scorpio girl.

The beautiful woman stared from the second floor. There were already seen many guests who had been gathered on the ground floor. They chatted with each other and often laughed together as if they found something funny. Meanwhile, the blonde-haired girl's expression became even grimmer, because of she had a strong desire to run away from there as soon as possible. However, a young, smart lady still was there, as if the situation had trapped her, so she had to stay a bit longer.

"Why are you even standing there? Get down there. They have all been waiting for you, Abby."

The baritone voice has succeeded in making the owner of the name look back. A middle-aged man seemed to be watching her carefully. The owner of the name has not yet answered. The girl could not hide the irritation in her heart, so her expression also supported the mood — she looked irritated, and the opposite sex well recognized this situation.

“Abigail Laurentia Verz. Do not test my patience.”

The short brunette man deliberately suppressed the words he said, so the smart woman felt even more annoyed. She still has not budged, as if she prefers to stay in her place now. However, when she heard the voice of the man she had known since childhood, the pent-up desire could not be carried out.

"Abigail—"

Before the Leo zodiac man could finish his words, Abby had cut his words first. "Yes, Dad. I am coming there."

"Good. If you do not show up, even though we have been waiting for fifteen minutes, then I will drag you down, Abby. Do not lie to me." After he finished saying this, that burly man as soon as possible walked away from the girl.

Abigail, who saw it, seemed to be at a loss for words because she had not been able to find the right equivalent of the phrase to express the anxiety that was stored in her heart. She remained standing in the same place as if her legs were heavy to step onto the ground floor.

“Fuck! I really do not enjoy being an adult. If I knew that turns out that nowadays my parent has burdened me with various kinds of responsibilities, and difficulties, I would run away from them. I wonder, was dad really serious about his words or was he just playing around? Damn! I hope I can disappear from this bloody house!”

"Happy birthday, Miss Abby."

There were voices from the invited guests, who joined in singing the birthday song for Abby. The girl forced herself to smile, although to be honest she did not like being in a crowd, and being the centre of attention like now.

"Thank you very much," said the girl, who has a height of one hundred and seventy-five centimetres tall.

In front of the young lady who was having her birthday, there was a fairly long table on which there was a birthday cake. Abby knew what to do next, so the girl closed her eyes for a moment, then opened them again.

The sound of applause thundered when a girl blew out all the candles so that no light remained. Meanwhile, the only daughter of the couple, Arnold Laurens Verz and Amber Natasya Loght started cutting the cake, then when finished, Abby gave it to her mother, who was standing nearby.

"This is for you, Mom."

A woman, who was still beautiful at her fifty, took the cake given to her by her only daughter. She kissed Abigail's left and right cheeks while whispering to her, “Thank you. Happy birthday, my dear."

The girl who had just gotten older smiled wryly and just nodded, not wanting to reply. She seemed displeased, even though it had just been her birthday. Meanwhile, next to the mother, stood the head of the family, and three others whom Abby had never seen before. That young lady looked at them and she looked a little confused.

One by one, the invited guests approached Abby to congratulate her. A woman who was wearing a red dress smiled again, friendly to those who came to her. The single lady did not forget to say thank you to them.

When the invited guests no longer approached Abigail, the father approached her only daughter with the three guests, who had been waiting. Meanwhile, the mother said nothing and just watched.

“Abby, this is Massimo and his parent,” Arnold said. He pointed at a tall man next to him. Abby even raised her head, because the opposite sex mentioned by her father was indeed taller than her other invited guests.

That macho man smiled as he extended his right hand to the ambitious woman, although the other person still did not show any interest in getting to know him at all. "Hello, Abby. My name is Massimo."

The girl has not yet received a helping hand from the other person, because a bad feeling began to creep up inside the girl. The smart woman turned to Arnold. From her face, she seemed to ask for an explanation from her father, while Massimo was still in his original position and had not lowered his right hand.

"Who is he, Dad?" Abby asked, suspiciously.

“His name is Massimo Francesco Alonso. He is your future husband and both of you will get married soon,” Arnold replied calmly.

The blonde-haired girl immediately glared when she heard the answer from the interlocutor. "What?! No way, Dad!" said Abby, shaking her head.

"Nothing is impossible in this world, my dear. Do not you remember our agreement in the past? If you are already twenty-five years old, but you have not found a man to be your life partner, then I, as your dad, have every right to do that. In case you really want to reject the husband I have chosen, then where is your boyfriend? Why do not you invite him here? If he is here, then you must introduce him to us, your parent.”

The hazel-eyed girl immediately went silent when she heard the question. Meanwhile, Massimo seemed to have lowered his right hand and noticed the face of his future wife, who was not happy with Arnold's words. The atmosphere became awkward because the girl who had just gotten older had shown no signs of wanting to comment at the moment.

“Abigail Laurentia Verz, you must marry Massimo. Your time is up. I will not tolerate the lies or delays you make to find a husband. We already choose him as your future husband and you must accept our decision! You can't refuse, let alone argue!" the head of the Verz family said firmly.

"No way! I would rather have a career than have to marry a foreign man like him! He must also reject and he is already had a lover by his side!” said Abby quickly.

“Why did you say that I have a girlfriend? I am a single man."

The girl, who has a height of one hundred and seventy-five centimetres, turned her attention to Massimo. She looked at the man in disbelief. "Excuse me?"

"You heard right, Abby. To be honest, I already knew that we would match each other. Now I want to tell you, I accept you as my future wife."

"What?! I objected!"
