Emerald Garden

Emerald Garden was a big villa with three buildings. The main house, the guest house, and the servant quarters. It had a traditional architecture with lush gardens and ponds. It was an ancestral home of the Monroe. 

They were originally a family of officials and scholars but later on they also ventured into literature and trade. The family group now became a congolomerate one of the biggest in the country. They have invested in many different business and now were one of the most affluential family in the country. 

Alphonse Monroe carried a sleeping Lilian inside and Alec followed behind them. He slowly held on to Alphonse's trousers as they walked inside the magnificent entrance. 

Waiting by the door was the housekeeper Aunt Mai, who was surprise to see the two children but she was a professional so she just smiled and asked if she could carry the little girl. "Let me take the little girl Young master Alphonse" she offered opening her arms. 

"Don't worry I will take her to my bedroom Aunt Mai this is Alec Monroe and the girl I am carrying is Lilian Monroe they will be staying with us" He introduced the kids to the housekeeper.

Little Alec gave the housekeeper a little wave then hid behind Alphonse leg again. 

The housekeeper looked at the little bun hiding behind the young master and she couldn't help but find him adorable he was a little disheveled but nothing a good bath wouldn't fix. 

"Alec do you want to come with me?" Alphonse asked while adjusting the little girl in his arms as the little boy nodded his head. 

He guided the little boy up the stairs to the second floor. The main house had 3 floors, the second floor belonged to him and his brother, while the third floor belonged to there parents.

Opening the wooden door Alec looked around the room. The room was neat and tidy there wasn't any decoration only a big bed in the middle and a big TV mounted in the wall while across from it was a small couch. 

Alphonse slowly laid down the girl in his bed the girl looked really peaceful. He looked at the little boy beside him. "Do you want to take a nap too or do you want to look around?" he asked. 

Before he could answer someone knocked on the door. "Young Master a deliver came from the Master he asked someone to buy some change of clothes for the young miss and young master" Auntie Mai stated. 

Opening the door Alphonse was suprise to see Auntie Mai carrying 3 paperbags with her filled with clothes. "Thank you Auntie Mai" he answered getting the bags from the housekeeper. 

"Auntie Mai can you prepare the two rooms beside me for Alec and Lilian?" He requested while Aunt Mai gave him a knowing smile "Don't worry Young Master I will instruct the maids right away" 

Alec became curious at the paperbags but he was to shy to open it so he just looked at it from afar. When Auntie Mai left and Alphonse closed the door he stared at Alec he couldn't help smile at the adorable bun. 

"Do you want to take a bath and try the clothes grandpa bought?" He asked upon hearing the word bath Alec beamed and nodded his head vigourously, his eyes filled with excitement. 

Alphonse chuckled looking at the little boy he took his hand and they walked to the en suite bath. 

Alphonse started the bath and watched it slowly as the tub filled up. The little boy besides him eagerly took off his clothes, he was so excited to bathe after a few days. 

When the water was ready he helped the little boy inside the bath. He looked at the discarded clothes and planned to tell Auntie Mai to burn it. 

"Mr. Daddy can you help me get the soap please?" Alec asked as he couldn't reach the shelves for the soap. Alphonse handed the boy the soap and helped bathe him. When they were done he patted the boy with a towel and looked at him. Now that he was clean you can see the resembles between him and the kid.

They both went to the paperbags and he was amaze his father really did think of everything. Inside were a couple of shirts, shorts, a dress, pjs, underwear, some socks, toothbrushes, shoes, and slippers.  

"Which one do you want?" He asked Alec. The boy looked around at the clothes and pointed at the pair of panda pjs. "That one please Mr. Daddy" 

Alphonse looked at the pjs that the boy was pointing at and helped him wear it. It was a little big and hang lose on the boy. He suddenly felt helpless thinking about the conditional the children lived in and patted the boy's head. 

"Do you want to eat Alec? and call me Daddy no more Mr okay" He said smiling at the boy. He reminded him of his little brother who use to look at him like this. Sadly for the last 5 years they have been estranged. 

"What do you want to do now Alec? Do you want a snack? or do you want to watch a little bit of TV?" he asked. 

Little Alec looked between the big tv and his dad. "Can I watch some cartoons please?" 

"Of course why don't you seat on the couch and i'll turn it on" He assisted the child to seat in the middle of the couch facing the TV and turned on the TV. When they found some cartoons the boy got engrossed in the velvet colors on the screen. 

"Alec I will just take a bath if you need anything just call Aunt Mai alright?" Alphonse looked at the boy satisfied that he was comfortable he went to the bath.
