Protect

Alphonse sat in a chair beside Lilian's bed. "Are you sure sweetheart you are alright? Does it hurt anywhere?" He asked his daughter as he gently patted her head. "Don't worry Daddy I am alright" she assured her father. Lilian turned around to face Alec who wanted to sleep together.

"I am fine Daddy Alec so let's sleep. I can't wait to go out with grandma tomorrow" She stated as she closed her eyes and soon she fell asleep. Alec beside her watched his sister and still felt a little guilt of being useless. 

"Alec don't worry" Alphonse walked towards Alec's side and kneeled down. He stared at his son and gently smiled. "Don't worry have fun and just be a kid, your father is here to protect you and your sister." He vowed. 

Alec tears fell and he whimpered as he hugged his father. "I am sorry Daddy I couldn't protect big sister" he cried "I wanna become stronger"
