Chapter 10

After hours of listening to Cullen's PA drone on and on about the project, I was exhausted. Drew, who had been sitting next to me the whole time, must have felt the same way because as soon as the PA left, he turned to me and said,

"Do you want to go hang out and unwind?"

I nodded, grateful for the invitation. We needed to take our minds off work and just relax for a little while.

Drew was seemed like good company, and I felt comfortable around him, so I knew that hanging out with him would be the perfect way to destress.

We made our way to a bar that Drew knew, and he ordered us both a drink. As we sipped on our cocktails, Drew asked me,

"Where did you learn to speak French so fluently? I heard you speaking to Evie before leaving your party the first time we met."

I smiled, remembering my wedding party with Cullen that had brought us together.

"I love to explore and learn new things," I said. "French is just one of the many languages I've picked up over the years."
