2 Corinthians 4:16-18

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the unseen things.

He sighed and smiled and secured his answer in front of me. I raised my eyebrows when his lips half-opened waiting for his answer. What took him so long to answer? I sighed and turned my back to him when he answered.

"Yes, sweetheart we will eat now." I stiffened and smiled wide to move back in front of him.

"Oh, I love it sweetheart when we're eating together here at home. Come on, let's go to the kitchen now."

I stood up first and held his hand to help him stand out. He relented and we walked hand in hand to the kitchen. He grabbed me by my waist and pulled me closer to him.
