Chapter 32

“Phil, get back here.” Mom grits her teeth when Dad storms off. She looks at the camera with a panicked expression, “Just a minute, Honey.”

After a few crashing sounds in the background and listening to Mom chastise at Dad for losing his temper, they both come back into the frame. Dad smooths back his hair and looks above the camera, taking deep breaths, while he calms himself down.

“So let me get this straight. Mom already told me you took in this girl because she was having trouble with some male wolves in the dormitory.” He crosses his arms in front of himself. “Tonight, you were picking her up on campus and you saw her being attacked by one of Williams’ trainees?” 

“Yes. He was wearing a trainee uniform, had his claws in her arm, and he was about to forcibly mark her.” I can’t help but snarl at the memory.

Ppl need to understand in less than 3 months her family, boyfriend, pack, and bff all have not only abandoned her but attacked her plus she has to see Jensen and her mate “can’t” be with her. Humans would contemplate self harm over less. Tears aren’t a sign of weakness
