“Sorry Derek but Malayah is gone. In the commotion she took he opportunity to sneak out. I’ve sent out wolves to follow her.” Damn it Malayah. Now is not the time to be sneaking off.

“Let’s go Mark, we’re going to get her.” Just as we reach the stairs we hear the ladder being pulled up. we walk to Malayah’s room and find her putting the escape ladder back in her closet. She is so grounded.

“Malayah you were specifically asked by your mother to not go running off tonight. What was so important that you felt you had to go for a run?”

“Nothing. I just wanted to go for a run.” Something is off. I can tell she is lying and she’s hiding something.

“You are grounded young lady until further notice.”

“You are not my dad, I don’t care what that stupid paper thing says.” She goes to her bathroom and slams the door. I take a sniff around and can barely catch her scent.

    Thank you for pushing through and finishing book 1. Please let me know what you think! Book 2, Family Secrets is where I will publish any and all sequels. I am in the process of changing the title name to just The Silver Dragon Series. I plan for there to be a total of 6 books. Books 1, which you just read, through 3 will be Davina and Derek's journey to defeat those after her so she can live in peace. Book 4 will follow her daughter Maliyah, Book 5 will follow her twins and book 6 will follow her last child. Please let me know what y'all think of the story and show your support with those gems. Take a look at my other books: The Blood Red Wolf. I have finished the whole book and 2 chapters are scheduled to be released every Mon/Wed/Fri. The last chapter will be released end of September. The Alpha's Tribrid. First book is complete with chapters being released Mon/Fri. I will post book 2 of The Alpha's Tribrid there so it's easier to find. I have more stories floating around

    Derek As soon as we touch down on the runway we both unbuckle our seat belts and rush out the door as soon as it’s opened. There are two cars waiting for as I instructed. One to wait for our luggage and another to immediately take us home. I order my wolf to speed home. Davina hasn’t spoken a word since we left. I can tell she has been trying to communicate with Malayah with no luck. I have been practicing using my telepathy as well but haven’t been able to get through either. It’s weird being able to do that in my human form. I try communicating with Mark. “Mark can you hear me?” “Derek?” “Yes it’s me.” “How are you doing that?” “I’ll explain later. Any leads?” “No, she vanished. There is a package here for Davina though. It’s spelled shut. I think only Davina can open it.” “We will be there in ten minutes. Meet us in the conference room.     “They look like they are having a lot of fun,” I giggle. There is a picture of Owen with glitter in his hair.“My mother sent me this yesterday. They are doing fine.” The pictures ease my anxiety and a server brings out our dessert. A simple cheese cake. I love cheese cake. This is truly the best evening and it’s only day one.     “Don’t panic love. Just calmly swim back to the boat.” I go to turn around are there are some blacktip reef sharks between us and the boat.“Derek?”“It’s okay, they won’t bother you. Plus you are a dragon that controls water. Just move them with your water powers.” I concentrate and make a water current that pushes the sharks further away so I can swim to the boat. I turn and I see the hammerhead next to Derek. Derek is remaining as still as possible but he needs air. I use my water powers to push the hammerhead away from Derek but the sharks tail hits Derek in the head causing his snorkeling gear to get knocked of this head. Derek is knocked further towards the sea floor, doing a few somersaults. “Shit!”“Derek are you okay?” He looks around confused for a second. He doesn’t look to be holding his breathe. “Davina, I’m breathing.”“What? How?”“I think we should head back early and call Dimitri.
