20: Healed

I involuntarily shut my eyes. My heart was beating rapidly, crazily. My brain couldn't process anything I could do to escape from him and was automatically prepared for the kiss so I held my breath.

I was so nervous but I had to stop to think that it had been a while but he hadn't kissed me yet.
