Chapter 43 I Love You
Jacob stayed in the hospital for a while. He was about to leave when he saw a sign that Martin's hand had moved. He quickly called the doctor and it didn’t take long when the doctor came in, Martin slowly opened his eyes. The doctor checked Martin and he updated Jacob on his condition. Martin was still weak and he didn’t say anything. Jacob quickly dialed Stephanie’s number but he got no answer from her. He thought she had already gone to bed, so he called Barbara to update Martin’s condition.
Barbara went to the kitchen after took a shower, she was hungry. She had a simple dinner and then she remembered that Stephanie looked tired, so she made a warm Almond milk for her. Barbara was about to go to see Stephanie when the phone rang. She was wondering who made a call this late. When she took the call, she was overjoyed hearing Jacob updating her about Martin’s condition.
