Ethan’s POV

He’d never stepped foot in the Hollow Woods alone before.

No Alpha did.

The trees weren’t just ancients they were cursed, drenched in blood rites and the howls of broken wolves. Only outcasts lived here. And worse the ones who traded in secrets.

But Ethan needed one of them now.

He needed the Whisperer.

The one who could find wolves even death forgot.

A shadow moved through the twisted trunks.

She appeared like smoke hooded, blindfolded, barefoot. Eyes covered, but her voice was sharp as glass.

“You brought no guards.”

“I didn’t come for safety,” Ethan said. “I came for a name.”

“And what will you trade for it, Alpha?” she asked, tilting her head. “Blood? Memory? A part of your soul?”

Ethan didn’t flinch.

He bit into his own palm and let the blood drip into her offered vial.

“Take what you want,” he said, voice raw. “But bring him back to me.”

Marcus’ POV

The Crescent Moon war table had grown louder by the hour.

Reports of rogue interference. Crossed territories. Ambushes that didn’t match their command orders.

Something was wrong.

Marcus slammed his hand on the table. “We haven’t moved on the Red Moon. So who the hell is attacking in our name?”

His Beta glanced at a sealed letter just delivered.

Marcus opened it.

Read it once.

Then again.

Noah.

A Red Moon soldier born of Crescent blood.

A traitor to both.

The letter simply read

"He’s selling your brother.

Do , and you’ll lose him.

Do something and it’ll start a war."

Marcus didn’t speak.

He just stood.

And said, “Ready the scouts.”

Silas’ POV

The chains were tighter now.

Noah hadn’t spoken to him in hours.

Just paced.

Like something inside him was unraveling.

“You were always weak,” Noah finally said. “You let Ethan touch you. Let him soften you. You think that’s love?”

Silas laughed, bitter. “No. I think it’s real. Which is something you’ve never had.”

That struck.

Noah moved fast and gripped Silas’s jaw hard enough to bruise. His breath smelled like rage.

“I should’ve killed you in the forest,” he hissed.

“But you didn’t,” Silas said, voice trembling. “Because some part of you still wants someone to save you.”

Noah blinked.

Then stepped back like Silas had punched him.

“You’re wrong.”

But his voice cracked.

And Silas knew just for a second he'd found Noah’s last thread of humanity.

Arden’s POV

Arden waited at the edge of the Hollow Woods.

He didn’t speak as Ethan emerged, pale and bleeding from the wrist.

He only asked, “Was it worth it?”

Ethan handed him a sealed blood-marked scroll. “The Whisperer gave us a location.”

Arden stared. “At what cost?”

Ethan’s eyes darkened. “I gave her my memory. The first time I shifted.”

Arden flinched. “That’s sacred.”

Ethan’s voice was steel. “So is Silas.”

Unknown POV

The Whisperer sat alone beneath the trees.

She opened her vial.

Inside Ethan’s blood, something pulsed.

A vision.

A white wolf, broken and surrounded. Another wolf, red-eyed, tearing through darkness.

A third gold-eyed and hidden watching it all burn.

The Whisperer smiled.

“This bond will ruin them all,” she whispered.

Because love can be a salvation

But blood always demands a price.

He stood in the center of the moonstone circle barefoot, heart pounding, the silk of his ceremonial robes clinging to skin still marked by battles. He wasn't Alpha tonight. Just a man. In love. Silas stepped into the circle barefoot too. No armor. No mask. Just him beautiful in soft gray, a sash wrapped around his chest like an offering. Their eyes met. And nothing else mattered. Silas’s POV – Under the Moon He’d dreamed of this once. When he still believed in fated mates. Before prophecies. Before knives and chains. Now, standing here, looking at Ethan He didn’t need a myth to tell him what this was. He knew. Ethan held out a single black thread. Silas held a white one. Walked in like herself. Not her title.“Your sentence has been confirmed,” Selene said. “No prison. No exile.”Nina blinked. “What then?”“You’re to stay here,” Selene answered. “Under the Healers. You’ll work. Serve. Study. Repay.”“For how long?”Selene didn’t flinch.“Until you stop seeing redemption as a trick.”Marcus’s POV – Crescent Garden CourtyardSilas was already there.Kneeling, weeding the overgrown roots beneath a moon tree that refused to bloom.Marcus stepped into the sunlight cautiously.Silas didn’t look up. “You used to hate gardens.”“I still do,” Marcus said, settling beside him. “But I hated

His bond mark was still there but it didn’t burn anymore. It pulsed like a heartbeat.Like a reminder.Ethan emerged from the cabin, shirt loose, hair wet from the spring, holding two mugs of wild mint tea.“You’re still planting lavender?” Ethan asked with a grin.Silas smirked. “She said it’s good for wounds.”“She also said I’d lose my left arm. And yet…” Ethan raised his arm, flexing playfully.Silas rolled his eyes and took the tea. “Miracles happen.”They sat on the porch together shoulder to shoulder, knee to knee. The stone lit with runes that hadn’t glowed in centuries.Lucien stumbled back, shocked. “What have you done?”Silas breathed through the pain. “I ended it on my own terms.”Silas’s POV – Hollow Spine, After the EclipseThe altar was cold now.Quiet.The runes had faded, leaving behind only bloodstains and cracked stone.Silas stood beneath the breaking skywhere the moonlight no longer bled.Ethan was beside him, his hand steady on Silas’s back.
