Riley smiled at his best friend who had such an extraordinary ability.

Riley was really relieved that Reiner had kicked James out of the palace so that he could be around to help him. Otherwise, he wasn't sure he would have been able to do something quite dangerous that he was thinking about.

The man who was the brother-in-law of the current king of Ans De Lou Kingdom trusted Reiner, so he did not hesitate to tell the whole plan to Reiner who was staring at him dumbfounded.

"You ... are crazy! How can we do this?" Reiner said without blinking. His brows were furrowed strangely, showing that he was both shocked and confused.

Riley shrugged, "We can."

Reiner sighed in exasperation, "But this is too risky. What if we fail?"

"Oh my, Rei. The possibility of failure is still always there, but this is one of the best ways to help James," Riley explained.

Reiner frowned, looking not too convinced.

Riley then asked, "Why, you don't want to do it?"

Reiner shook his head quickly, "Of course I w

Meanwhile, inside one of the De Kruk Kingdom's fighter planes, a 36-year-old man was staring through the window, smiling with satisfaction at the destruction of some of the Ans De Lou Kingdom's key territories. His eyes flashed as he saw how the kingdom was almost under his feet.A subordinate suddenly approached, "Your Highness."Evan De Kruk's smile instantly faded and he immediately turned a cold gaze on the person who had interrupted his fun. What's more he heard the person call him 'Your Highness'? "What did you call me?" he asked with a cold, piercing gaze. Evan stood up from his chair. The subordinate immediately turned pale. His legs were suddenly shaking but he couldn't move because the prince hadn't given him any orders to do so."Don't you know or are you tired of living?" Evan asked in a horrible tone of voice. He really hated anyone who called him that. He didn't feel special about it. Although he was a prince, more precisely the second son of the previous king, he h

  • The Strongest God of War   167. What Do We Need to Do?

"Not King De Kruk, Riley," Reiner said with a frown as he gave a worried look.Riley replied with a raised left eyebrow, "What do you mean? Who, then?""War General of De Kruk Kingdom. Ah, I mean the former war general of that damn kingdom," Reiner replied quietly.Riley was silent for a moment, trying to think seriously. He clearly remembered having been at war with that kingdom. The more he tried to remember, he immediately discovered an important thing that happened back then.Reiner observed his friend's expression and said, "You remember him?"Riley replied in a resentful tone, "I'm not James. Of course I remember him."Truly, if only the two people were not in an emergency situation, Reiner would have laughed out loud.Unfortunately, it was not the right situation to laugh at something so Reiner simply said, "You're right, do you know what James said when Prince Gary asked that?"Riley rolled his eyeballs and

  • The Strongest God of War   166. Something Bad Happened

Gary Wellington laughed sarcastically as he listened to James Gardner's confident words."General Gardner, I think you forgot something," Gary said after his laughter died down.James didn't respond immediately and just stared silently at Gary with a cold gaze that could pierce anyone he looked at.For a moment Gary felt like that gaze could tear his heart out and once he realized that James' gaze was capable of frightening him, he quickly averted his gaze and said again, "He's alone out there anyway. No matter how powerful he is, he won't get away easily.""Besides, Evan De Kruk's strength has improved a lot compared to when he was defeated by you and Riley Mackenzie. Right now, Prince De Kruk is not afraid of anything and will exert all his strength to win from you or from General Mackenzie," Gary continued, without daring to look at James directly.Gary's words were not without reason. It was also proven by the defeat of the Ans De Lou Kingdom. He proved to be able to divide the so

Upon hearing the name, James just stared blankly at the young prince. His brain was completely jammed for a few moments, to the point that Gary snorted loudly, "Oh my! You don't remember him at all?""Ah, if Evan De Kruk knew you didn't remember him, he would definitely take offense. He remembered you for several years and set you as his eternal enemy. How could you forget him?" Gary continued.James snapped out of his reverie. Really, no matter how many times he tried to remember about someone he had fought in a war with, it was not as easy as he thought. However, he still came to the conclusion that this person they were talking about was not that important. That person's fighting ability must be below average.Gary, who saw the puzzled look in James' eyes spoke again, "Oh, you're annoying, General Gardner. Exactly how often do you find a prince who is also a war general?"James was again stunned and widened his eyes slightly.Gary was obviously right. It was rare to find a prince w

James Gardner's blunt words left Gary Wellington transfixed for a few moments. However, when a few seconds passed and Gary still didn't speak even a word of rejection, James said, "Ah, never mind. I was just joking, not at all serious."Gary turned to the war general who was still staring at him. The man shrugged, as if indifferent and added, "I knew you wouldn't be able to answer that."Having said that, James smiled wryly and was about to walk away. However, he had only taken three steps when he heard Gary say, "If you want to know, you shouldn't say that, General Gardner."Maintaining his level expression, James turned his head slightly and responded, "Oh, you mean ... I have to beg and plead for your mercy to get you to tell me, Your Highness?""Well, I have to apologize to you because ... it's never going to happen," James continued, who still looked indifferent.James turned back to face the front and resolved to continue walking again. However, Gary's voice was heard again, "No
