18. Fear Of Loosing

Mr. Rojas stood up, walking over to Lillian with a furrowed brow. "Lillian, what's the matter? You seem sad," he asked gently.

Lillian took a deep breath, trying to compose herself before speaking. "Mr. Rojas, I... I can't continue this marriage," she began, her voice wavering with emotion. "With Katherine back, it's too much for me to bear."

Mr. Rojas nodded thoughtfully, his expression sympathetic. "I understand, Lillian. It's been a difficult situation for everyone," he replied, his tone reassuring.

Mrs. Rojas interjected, her voice laced with false concern. "Of course, dear. We want what's best for you," she said, her words tinged with insincerity.

Lillian's eyes narrowed slightly, unsure of Mrs. Rojas's true intentions. However, she appreciated Mr. Rojas's understanding demeanor.

"I can't stay in the same room with Sebastian anymore," Lillian admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
