Chapter Fifteen

Deianne lets out a huge, disappointed sigh as she stares at the five different pregnancy test kits on top of the sink inside their bathroom. It all yields one result: one red line, indicating that she is not pregnant.

She limply sat down on the toilet bowl and cupped her face with both of her hands as another wave of disappointment hit her.

It's been three months since they first did the deed. And it's not like it was the only time they did it. They would do it after every failed result. And in the span of three months, she has already tested thrice, and it all says the same. She is not pregnant, though.
