Eva froze, then burst into tears. “My hair! That’s my favorite thing in the world!”

Eva had always cherished her hair, growing it long since she had been born. Lila was always taking care of it. Now it lay on the floor.

Joe ran over and picked up the hair. He begged Helena, “Helena, Eva loves her hair so much! Fix it, please! I know you can!”

Helena smiled. She was actually satisfied with what she had done. The more the twin pups suffered, the more she felt she had taken revenge on Lila.

“I think Eva looks better like this. Long hair takes too much time to fix. I’m not like your mommy. I won’t braid it for you.”

In that moment, the twin pups just wanted to go home and see their mommy.

Joe and Eva couldn’t hold back their tears anymore.
