The last time you were here, we were talking about a group of true-blue believers of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who have decided to spend a holiday at an enchanted spot known for its beauty, nature, and stories of the fay folk.
And most of their stories are true...
Not to mention quite chilling.

Since I promised Tita that I would go to her wake, I was often at the funeral home and sometimes I would even sleep there. Dada’s other relatives were scared of staying in that funeral house because of its not-so-pleasant reputation. Meanwhile, at Dada’s house, Tita haunted her own room during the first few days so no relatives of hers slept there either. They huddled up in the living room at night, lying down on the couches, chairs and sleeping on the floor. Then in the morning, they all went back to the wake.

In the future, we will be talking about other culture's mythological creatures as well but we can start with these for now.The aswangs are humans that augment themselves with a ritual then eating innards and drinking blood. The manananggals are also humans that augment themselves with magickal balms and consumption of human flesh, innards and blood. They mostly target unborn babes that they suck from the tummies of their mothers using a long, thin cord-like tongue.
