Welcome back to the Supernatural Spa, dear reader. Looks, like you're eager to know more about the aswang of Philippine lore and myths.

Now, there are many ways to go against an aswang. One of the most common ways is to fight with something made of metal, or to be specific, iron. They also avoid getting pierced with anything wooden, especially through the heart. But then again, everyone should avoid that whether they are aswang or not. 

Other items they tend to avoid are anything anointed, garlic, and salt. As a matter of fact, aswang don't even cook their victims' meat in salt and garlic. It is said that these cuts of flesh would move if they are sprinkled by these seasonings.
