Chapter 140: The war (1)

‘Arthur, watch out!’ Arthur heard Lance say to him through their mind-link. He turned and saw a hydra which was charging towards him.

Arthur readied his stance to defend himself against the hydras. However before the hydra could reach where he was, he was swept off his feet and into the air.

The white lycan looked up and saw that it was Adelia’s doing. She made a gesture with her hand as though she was tearing something apart.

The hydra which she had carried in the air started to rip apart in the same way Adelia had her hands.

It was not long after before he was torn into two with his blood dripping on the floor. Adelia looked down at the white lycan and she nodded at it. The white lycan roared in response.

‘Stay safe,’ Arthur said to Adelia through their newly formed mind-link. All thanks to Adrian finally marking her, she was now connected to him and the rest of the pack.

‘You too,’ Adelia responded. She had no idea on how to shut the link and so Arthur did that for her.
