The Supreme Lycan's Human Mate
The Supreme Lycan's Human Mate
Author: Marvy

PROLOGUE: THE PROPHECY.

In a dimly lit room, three men and a woman sat around a fire anxiously staring at an old man whose eyes were closed as they were expecting to hear what the wizard would reveal to them.

His predictions had never been wrong in all the years he had been with them and so, they were rest assured that whatever he would tell them would happen.

The wizard opened his eyes and the fire which was burning extinguished itself.

“What did you see, Alphaeus?” One of the three men asked.

“Bad times are upon us, your majesty,” Alphaeus answered.

The woman gasped in horror and the man who had asked the question immediately wrapped his arms around the woman’s shoulder to calm her down.

“Tell us what you saw Alphaeus ,” a cold deep voice urged as he was starting to grow impatient.

“The number one enemy of your kind is going to get a new force; one so powerful that it would be unaffected by their weakness and be able to kill lycans and werewolves," Alphaeus revealed.

"What I saw showed that if the savior isn’t found soon, this force will destroy your kind and will be the end of all lycans as we know it.”

“I won’t let that happen!” the same deep voice said sharply. “Who is the one who can save us?” he asked.

“Your mate, Alpha,” Alphaeus answered. “She is the only one who can save us and I suggest you take finding your mate seriously as the danger looms upon us.”

The man scowled deeply upon hearing what the wizard said. “I am a lycan, Alphaeus and not just any lycan, the supreme one, are you saying that I can take care of that evil force?” he sneered, his blue eyes, slowly turning black.

“Alpha, please calm down,” Alphaeus quickly said when he saw the change in the colour of the man’s eyes. He could tell that his lycan had been offended by his words and was fighting to come out.

“I am only saying what I saw in my vision. You are a very powerful lycan and there’s no doubt about that but you cannot defeat this force for some reason and I can guarante you that it’s not because of power,” Alphaeus tried to explain.

The man closed his eyes and when he opened them again, they had returned back to the blue colour. That meant that he was in control of himself again.

“Only your mate can stop this force of the rogues from becoming stronger and destroying the pack,” Alphaeus stated.

The man frowned. He wasn’t one who was interested in finding his mate. As a lycan, he was only going to be mated to one person throughout his long lifetime.

And that was the problem. Once he found his mate, she would be his only weakness which his enemy would use against him and he had a lot.

If anything were to happen to her, it would mean doom for himself and everyone around him as he wouldn’t be able to handle her loss and he would go on a rampage destroying everything and everyone. And so, he considered having a mate more of a liability.

But if she was the only one who could save his kind from the rogues and his other enemies, then he had to find her.

He was still an Alpha after all, his people's lives and their safety came first.

At the thought of finding their mate, his lycan started pacing in his head, as he was happy.

“Ok then Alphaeus , I’m going to find my mate,” he finally said.
