Chapter 30: Want him to suffer

“Beta, where are you?” Horrace asked Adrian through their mind-link. “I’m almost there,” Adrian answered and he increased his speed.

“How is the Alpha?” he asked.

“Not good Beta, the hydras must have done something as there are scratches on his back which are not healing,” Horrace answered.

“Please hurry up and here, there’s only so much our warriors can do against the out of control Alpha.”

“Just try to hold him till I get there,” Adrian said and closed the mind-link.

It took him another five minutes before Adrian could locate them as they were outside the pack border.

He saw Arthur battling with some warriors and they were losing miserably.

As he got closer, he noticed that Arthur’s white fur had been stained by something black in his back.

“Where is Alphaeus?” Adrian asked Horrace after he shifted back to his human form.

“He hasn’t arrived yet,” Horace answered.
