Chapter 1: Forced Marriage

“You’re going to cry and ruin everything,” Selene muttered, trying to adjust the tiara on her sister’s blonde hair while Lyria stood still, eyes fixed on her reflection.

“Let it get ruined,” she whispered, voice shaky. “I didn’t ask for this.”

“Me neither, but it’s happening. We’re daughters of an Alpha, we don’t get to choose, remember?”

As she spoke, trying to comfort her sister and get her to stay still in her wedding dress, Selene shoved her own feelings aside. She looked beautiful, exactly how a princess was supposed to look. Her dress was stunning, embroidered with golden threads, but to her, it was nothing more than a fancy prison uniform. The jeweled tiara sat atop her fiery red hair, sparkling between the strands, making everything more beautiful, and, to her, more tragic.

“It’s just a political ritual,” she continued, more to herself than anyone else. “They want to seal the alliance with the Éreon Pack. You marry Seam, I marry Deimon, and that’s it. They get territory, our father gains influence, and we get... well, nothing.”

“We get a golden cell. That’s what we get,” Lyria shot back with a heavy sigh, and the two of them exchanged a long, silent look.

It was the truth, all they were gaining was a gilded cage.

The silence broke with a knock at the door.

“It’s time.”

It was their mother’s voice, Elena, the Luna. Always composed, always submissive to their father.

Selene took a deep breath before opening the door and found her mother’s impassive gaze. She was dressed like a moon priestess, draped in a pearl-gray cloak that shimmered under the hallway lights.

“You look beautiful, daughter.”

“It’s a prisoner’s outfit. Just like yours,” Selene snapped, making her mother sigh.

Elena raised an eyebrow.

“You’re fulfilling your destiny. That’s more important than your desires.”

“And what if my destiny was something else?”

“Dreams are for ordinary she-wolves, Selene. You and your sister were born to serve the pack, long before this nonsense about hearts and bonds.”

Selene tried to argue, but swallowed the words. There was no point. It had always been this way, obedience first, feelings later.

“I just wanted... to meet my destined mate. To be sure. To feel that real connection, like in the stories.”

“That’s a luxury we don’t have. You’re a princess. You’ll marry whoever your father chooses.”

“Then why did you tell me those stories when I was little? Why did you make me dream of those things?”

Elena didn’t answer. She simply stepped aside, leaving the hallway clear to the temple.

Lyria took her sister’s hand and squeezed it tightly.

“Just pretend it’s a stage play. Look straight ahead, smile and wave.”

Selene nodded, throat tight.

The temple doors opened slowly. The place was full, Alphas and Lunas seated on white stone benches, all with hungry eyes. The full moon poured through the high stained glass window, casting silver light across the floor.

At the altar, the two grooms waited.

Deimon, tall and broad, with a rigid jaw and eyes like a predator’s.

Seam beside him, smiling like he was buying livestock.

Neither of them looked happy, just... ready, like they’d sealed a business deal.

Selene tried not to tremble, but the feeling was unbearable.

The wolf inside her cried, curled up in mourning for a mate she would never meet.

They were killing something inside her she hadn’t even known existed.

As she walked between the guests, she heard the whispers, the comments sizing them up.

“Finally, those two will be useful.”

“At least they’re pretty.”

“Hope they know how to behave.”

Every step was an insult dressed as tradition.

Lyria heard it too, but like her sister, she pretended not to.

“Almost there,” she whispered.

But they never made it to the altar.

A howl shattered the air, too loud, too strong... and unfamiliar. It wasn’t from any Crimson Moon wolf or their allies.

Silence held for one long second, everyone staring at each other, confused,

And then... screaming.

“INVASION!”

“PROTECT THE ALPHA!”

“RUN!”

The temple doors exploded inward with brutal force, wood splintering everywhere.

Men stormed in, dressed in black with silver masks.

They were warriors from the Northern Iron Pack.

Beside them, others had already shifted into their wolf forms.

They were savages.

They didn’t fight like soldiers.

They fought like monsters, ripping and slaughtering without mercy.

Selene yanked Lyria to her side, trying to run, but she stumbled over something.

She looked down…

A woman. One of the guests.

Dead. Her throat slit wide open.

A warrior rushed past her like a shadow, cleaving a guard’s head off with a massive axe, while another drove a blade deep into the Crimson Moon captain’s chest.

“LYRIA!”

Selene turned, heart pounding…

But her sister was gone.

Swallowed by the chaos.

The temple had become a slaughterhouse.

Guards tried to fight back, but they were weak, unprepared for an attack during a wedding.

Every second, more bodies hit the floor.

More blood.

More agony.

And then...

He walked in.

Slow.

Imposing.

The only one without a mask.

The Supreme Alpha of the North.

Walking like the chaos meant nothing to him, with a wide grin across his face.

His face was splattered with blood.

His eyes were silver, sharp as ice blades.

His presence calmed the frenzy.

His soldiers began to fall back, the killing slowing.

He stopped near the altar, right in front of her father.

Claus, Alpha of the Crimson Moon, tried to speak…

But the words stuck in his throat. He was frozen in terror.

Anton smiled.

A cruel smile.

No warmth.

No mercy.

“I think the wedding is off.”

Selene woke up with her skin burning and her entire body aching. Her back was covered in bandages, her arms were bruised, and her mouth was dry. She tried to move, but even the smallest shift sent waves of pain through her.She was in a bed... soft, with clean sheets, everything smelling of herbs and something sweet. She was wearing a long, silky nightgown that smelled like flowers. The room was warm and comfortable, like nothing she’d ever known.Anton wasn’t there. She sat up slowly, breathing deep, trying to understand how she had survived. The images came in flashes: Saphira’s face twisted in hatred, the whip, the screams, the cold floor. Then... strong arms. His warmth. His hands tending to her.Her stomach turned.No. She couldn’t accept that. The door burst open suddenly, and a large, grim-faced guard entered carrying a tray of food. His eyes didn’t even lift to meet hers."Eat. Orders from the Alpha."Selene said nothing. When he stepped forward and tried to touch her shoulder

With nowhere else to look, Selene threw the door open in one violent motion, stopping in front of the guards posted outside."Where is my sister?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!"One of the guards laughed and shrugged."They took her... maybe she’s learning how to behave with the others."She punched him in the chest."ANSWER ME, YOU BASTARD! WHERE IS SHE?!""Calm down, sweetheart, you’ll wake the whole damn castle..."That’s when, at the end of the corridor, the Luna appeared. Surrounded by two handmaidens and several guards, she walked slowly like a serpent, smiling in victory."Looking for your little sister?" Saphira asked with mockery.Selene spun toward her like a wild beast."What did you do?! WHERE IS SHE?!""Oh... I just sent her to spend some time with a few warriors. Slaves have to be useful, don’t they?"Selene’s world stopped. Just the thought of her sister inside a tent with several soldiers... Her blood boiled, and before she could think, she charged at the Luna so fast no on

For a moment, Anton said nothing. He just stared at her, letting the weight of her words settle in his chest before his face returned to its usual cold, cruel expression and he stepped back."Guards, take her back to the cell. Now." His voice was sharp, furious enough to kill anyone who dared question him.And he was furious. The rejection left a bitter taste in his mouth, and the way Selene had spoken didn’t just wound his heart, it tore at his ego and pride. The men dragged Selene away, hauling her back to the slave wing beneath the castle. When they threw her into the cell, Lyria was still there. The sisters clung to each other tightly, hiding in one another's arms."Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Lyria asked, checking her for any new bruises."I thought I’d never see you again," Lyria whispered, sobbing as she held her tight. They didn’t know when the nightmare would end, but at least they were together again.Upstairs, in the bedroom, Anton paced back and forth until he stoppe

Selene was still trembling when two soldiers grabbed her by the arms. Her wounds had been cleaned, and now they had started to heal, no longer bleeding. Lyria screamed her name from the cell, watching her sister being taken away, left behind."Where are you taking her?" she cried, reaching through the iron bars, her delicate hands stretching out desperately."Anton wants to see the little mutt now," one of the guards laughed.Selene tried to resist, but she was tired, weak, and her strength was nothing compared to those men. She was shoved down the freezing halls, naked, wet, and shivering from the cold—dragged like an object from one place to another. They stopped in front of a massive staircase leading to the castle's central tower, a corridor lined with torches and iron doors. The slave handler was already there, standing with her bloodstained whip and a stern expression, still furious about the defiance Selene had shown even while bleeding and weak."Looks like you got lucky, litt

The cart came to a violent stop.Selene woke with the jolt. She was lying on the cold floor of the cart, her wrists tied behind her back, her ankles bruised and aching. Lyria was beside her, curled up, trembling from cold and fear, her eyes red from crying too much.Outside, the massive gates creaked open, revealing the castle. A towering fortress that everyone feared. Tall, dark, made of black stone. A place where the sun seemed never to rise. Guards everywhere. Towers armed with archers. Damp, heavy walls."Get the little slaves up," one of the soldiers ordered, banging the cart with the butt of his spear. The doors flung open without warning and both girls were yanked out roughly. Their wedding dresses were ruined, torn, stained with mud and dried blood. Whatever beauty they once had was gone. Now, they were nothing but filthy rags.As soon as they stepped down, the stares began. Guards. Soldiers. Men everywhere. There were almost no women, at least not in that part of the castle.

  • The Supreme’s Alpha's Slave   Chapter 2: You Belong to Me Now

The silence was suffocating. The temple stank of blood, smoke, and fear. Bodies covered the floor, severed limbs, empty eyes, screams still echoing like ghosts. But the chaos had ceased. Everyone was on their knees... except for him.Anton, the Supreme Alpha of the North, stood tall at the center of the massacre. His aura of power drained any remaining resistance, and by now, his soldiers had forced the survivors to kneel before him as if he were a king conquering a new city.A few meters from Selene, she spotted Lyria also on her knees, staring back at her with wide, tear-filled eyes. The older sister gave her a firm nod, mouthing the words “it’s going to be okay,” though she wasn’t sure it would be.Selene’s father, the Crimson Moon Alpha, was dragged across the bloodstained floor to Anton’s feet. He was filthy with blood, but that only showed how much of a coward he was. He hadn’t fought. He hadn’t defended anyone. He’d just hidden behind soldiers who were now dead. Claus bowed wit
