Ysabel’s point of view

“Ruby, you're scaring me”, I say, and she replies,

“Ysabel, run, sweetie, as fast as you can. Everything will be okay.”

She takes my hand as she pulls me away from the paths, and over the grass, I can see people following us…I’m scared. Ruby picks me up as she runs towards some bushes and looks around before pointing to a gap in the fence and she squeezes my hand as she says,

“You have to be brave, sweetheart; run as fast as you can and don't look back. The police station is just outside the park gates. Find a policeman or woman and ask them to call Swift security for you; Maddox will come for you, okay.”

I nod my head as the tears run down my face, I do not want to leave Ruby, but she's making me scared,

“I don't want to leave you.” I say, and she smiles back at me, “You have to do this, baby, Maddox will find me, but you have to get some help and get away from these men.”
