Chapter 7 My Bodyguard Nothing More

I walked towards a fuming Colin with a mischievous grin" You did that on purpose he said looking at me pissed

You shouldn't have betrayed me yesterday I said my hands crossed as I remembered how he had snitched on me yesterday by calling that bustard Riccardo and telling him that I had ran away again when the true was I had decided to get some fresh air alone without him breathing on my neck" it was creepy as hell and not to mention that instead of acting like a fuckin bodyguard he was acting like a fuckin stalker

Besides it wasn't as if I could escape even if I wanted to, I have tried thirsty two times before and each time failing miserably, it was embarrassing, I mean how can I when Riccardo has bodyguards watching me 24/7

I felt angry as I saw four black Range Rovers parked behind us not far from where we stood three of them with four bodyguards inside keeping an eye on me just like Riccardo has instructed them to" In everyone's eyes it might seem normal because I come from wealth and all of that but only I knew they weren't there for my protection but to keep me from escaping" like I always try to, after all I am a  captive

Violet about yesterday...

Save it Colin no need to explain yourself I said dismissively

Okay fine" tell me what did you expect me to do, you had gone missing I'm your bodyguard Violet, I panicked" he said still trying to explain himself but everything that came out of his mouth sounded pathetic

You're right nothing" I said with sarcasm as I rolled my eyes, one of the things I hated about Colin was that he was a horrible actor it was obvious that he wasn't worried about me but instead of what Riccardo would do to him

Violet I'm sorry he said grabbing my hand his fingers trailing on my skin as if brushing it, I instantly pulled away disgusted by his touch

I stepped back uncomfortable distancing myself from him as I noticed his lusty eyes falling on my lips

Don't you ever touch me like that again" I said angry as I gave him a warning look that said it all , I turned around to leave but he grabbed my arm turning me around,  I coldly pushed him away as he without warning attempted to kiss me

Angry I slapped him hard causing his mouth to fall open shocked by my sudden action , I looked at him coldly feeling proud of myself as I had been wanting to do that for every long time because he deserved it and I was tired of him trying to force me to accept his creepy advances of love

Violet I have guarded you for five years and in this past five years I have hidden your rebelliousness from Riccardo" he said looking at me as if I'm supposed to feel deeply indepted to him

But I knew he hadn't done it out of kindness but for his own selfish gain" he had thought that if he let everything I did go unnoticed I would come to warm up to him and see him in a different angle but that never going to happen" by now I know the kind of man he is, he is loyal to no one except money, and Riccardo has plenty of it to give around

I'm sure you're not expecting me to kneel down and kiss your feet because I don't remember asking you to do anything for me " I said coldly as I looked at him

You're right Violet you didn't but the least you can do is thank me,  after all I did it out of love

I've never asked you to love me Colin, and I don't expect us to be having this conversation right now, I thought I had made it clear to you a million times that I'll never ever love you" I said coldly this time around making sure the words were ruthless as I looked at him straight in the eyes, and for a moment I could have sworn that I saw his jaw clench before his face returned to it's usual shape

I love you Violet more than you will ever know, I have done everything in my power to prove it to you, so why are you refusing to acknowledge my love" he said his gaze turning dark as his footsteps got closer, I stepped back keeping the distance between us not because I felt scared or intimidated but because I was uncomfortable

No one will ever love you the way I do Violet, believe it or not I'm crazy for you and I can burn the whole world just to be with you" he said his words coming out with a hint obsession as he stepped even closer but I placed my hand between us

Know your limits Colin" I said threateningly as I looked behind him reminding of him of the bodyguards watching me, never in my life had I ever thought that I would feel so greatful that those guys were there watching me

So that's how it is" he said with a cracking voice as he looked at me before stepping back, I felt relief wash over me as he did

Take me me home now" I demanded coldly as I walked passed him towards the car without giving him another glance
