Chapter Fifteen: Meeting King Vandal
After the appointment Pyrite and I dropped our mate off in our room with Maxia and Meadra. Dravo followed us to the office to meet the real vampire king. The ladies were going to come back down after they freshened up.
Walking into our office, Pyrite held the door open for us and Dravo and I went in. Pyrite closed the door after he entered. The man that calls himself Vandal, Stood around seven foot tall, with long white hair that was tied at the nape of his neck. He had electric blue eyes and a sharp face, which was common in a vampire. His frame was slight, but muscular and he had a scowl on his face.
“I expected to see you sooner than this, Kings, and did you really bring a mutt to see me?” He snapped with outrage.
“This mutt happens to be friends with your true mate!” I snapped back.

Shifting into a huge dragon was not fun when we had just finished training, but we wanted to end these Rebels before they could do anything to the kingdoms that we are all trying to unite. A couple days after the Rebel’s attempt at attacking, Magis, the werewolf King, came with a section of his Elite Werewolf Army. I greeted him with my mates. I couldn’t move around well anymore, so I was either carried or on bed rest. I had a wheelchair, but I preferred my mates carrying me, and loved to feel spoiled by them. We were in the formal sitting room when Den Leader Jargon came into the room to tell us that King Magis had come. I tried to stand for my old King, but my mates made sure I stayed laying down on the deep blue, velvet couch.“King Magis and Royal Beta Dux!” Jargon announced from the opened doorway, allowing both to enter.“King Magis, Royal Beta Dux.” Onyx and Pyrite said in unison. The nurses removed my clothes and put me in a hospital gown with Pyrite’s help. The doctor looked me over and decided to wait until my water broke to do my C-Section. It has been two months since the babies were born. They were growing quickly and were now sleeping through the night. The Kingdom was quiet. The only noise you could hear were the men and women that were training at the end of the day. Onyx and I had been making all kinds of plans for when the Rebels chose to return. It’s been too quiet on the Rebels part, but the babies have been growing. The kingdoms have been growing stronger since we have united. Dragons, Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches have been training together and some have even found their mates in those who have traveled. Those who thought their mates had died a long time ago and gave up hope, had found the mate that was meant for them in a different kingdom. The lawn was filled with supernaturals from everywhere. Celebrating with a feast, barbaque style. The rulers were playing with babies and other young children to give their parents some time to enjoy themselves. The people were dancing and just enjoying the festivities. Dravo and Meadra were dancing to a slow song while Maxia and Vandal continued to ingnore each other. Everything will happen in due time. We must wait for them to realize what they mean to each other and what they will gain together. For now, the Dragon Kingdom is safe, the Witches Coven and Vampire’s are enjoying being united with mates. Wishing for Peace to rain for a long time... Or will it?

I sat next to the Dragon Queen and a proud mother of quintuplets, Sapphire Heartsfire, as she played with her beautiful baby girl.
