Chapter 5: Abduction

The next morning, Vandal had a coronation to plan. I spent my time wondering around a castle that I should have known already, but when Visux forced our bonding, I was locked in a room and only allowed out when I dined with him.

I strolled passed an open door and seen a few vampires reading in a large library. Walking in, I received a few glares and curt nods as well as a few bows. I nodded back and wandered through aisle after aisle until I reached a large gold-plated book.

Looking through the glass case I didn’t see the men approach me, because I was so engrossed in the book, I dared not touch it. Next thing I know, something hit me in the back of my head and I was out.

I felt someone pick me up and toss me onto their shoulder and walk and jump.

“Fake Royals don’t belong in the coven!” I heard before I passed out completely.
