Chapter 6: Breaking Free

I tried to reach my mate through the bars, I never thought in a million years I would ever have a mate, but I did. My Lycan wanted to rip Visux apart and save our mate. She was beautiful and strong even for her small size. I didn’t care that I had to share her as long as she lived.

Getting up, I ran to the back of my cell and ran back at the cell door keeping me from my mate. I bent the bars the first and second time and they crashed to the ground the third time causing Visux’s bitch ass to run from the dungeon cells that were keeping the Lycan’s, werewolves, and other races contained.

I ran to my mate, and removed the dagger in her side and begged for her to heal.

“Really Drax? Your vampire Hybrid mate needs blood to survive!” Elder Calex yelled at me through his cell bars, making me jump right into action.

Shifting a single finger into a claw, I sliced open my shoulder blade and carefully lifted her to my shoulder. As soon as I had her mouth opened and blood on her tongue, she
