49 - Never Ending

~Ellie’s Point of View~

I must have blacked out, or Violet blacked out, I wasn’t sure what happened. I woke up in the grass, naked and it was pitch black out. I sat up and slammed my legs together, I had been laying with them wide open! How damn humiliating!!

I did see the silver chain nearby and realized Violet probably got it off but maybe passed out.

I didn’t notice any soreness or anything that would indicate Gunner had done anything. I got to my feet, my first thought being to go in the house for my clothes. I glanced at the house and it was totally dark, but I had no clue what might be lurking inside. I remembered Grammy and I had shifted in the side yard and I quickly went over there. My clothes were a bit ripped up but Grammy’s were okay.

I quickly put on her maid uniform which was basic black slacks and a black and grey blouse. I swam in it, even though she wasn’t that much bigger than me. Better than nothing, certainly. Grammy! Where was she??
