After an hour or so, Dawn finally calms down. James just stayed by her side like what he promised. Acantha gets in the room with water in her hand and hands it to Dawn.
“I’m sorry. I’ve got trouble,” she said to Acantha. She then held hand and squeezed it.
“No. No. It’s okay, honey. I understand.” she caressed Dawn’s hair before hugging her.
For the first time Dawn felt the warmth of a mother. A mother’s hug will always be comforting. They parted when Jasper broke into the room. Anxiety flashes in his face, and worries are shown in his eyes before anyone can ask him what happened, he ran to Dawn and hugged her.
