Chapter 140

Emma sat on the edge of her bed, staring at the floor. Her fingers were locked together. She hasn't moved since Jack realized the news to her of the rogues he had caught. She hadn't made a move either. Her thoughts ran wild in her mind. Everything Jack told her just not quite long kept replaying again and again. The spies that had been on the hill snooping around her pack.

She got up slowly and walked to the window. She looked out at the palace grounds. Everything looked peaceful. The trees swayed gently in the wind. The guards walked around the gates.
