Chapter Twenty-Eight: Emily's POV

“Just because you are insecure and you lose your confidence around me. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have gone to the extent of faking an attack, just to get me into Jail.” I retorted calmly, smiling to myself when she visibly flinched.

“What are you talking about? I have no idea what you are saying.” Emma stuttered, bringing me to chuckle.

I squinted my eyes and stared at her. “Of course, you never have an idea of what I am talking about. Wonder why Alpha Leonard had to marry Daniel off to a dumb twit like you. Tsk Tsk”

She glared at me. “Bridle that tongue of yours or else-.”

“Or else what, Emma? You will set me up for another heinous crime?” I blurted out in anger and she scoffed.

“Do you have proof that you weren't the one behind my attack? Everything points to the fact that it is you.” She asked.

“You and I know that I didn’t do it. You could just easily clear my name, while we look for the real culprit. Or maybe this is just a staged thing, just so you can get me in trouble with the
