Chapter Eight

A friend from a mutual benefit.

Darren's words have been stuck in my head since yesterday. My mind has been busy trying to figure out what it is with my nanny that he mentioned. It would have been nice to have someone around here that I can ask but I'm definitely sure no one would.

Oh right!!! My weird aunt Gabby would be very glad to throw the information in my face, for her own pleasure, but that would only start a war, my mom doesn't like the woman at all, and I don't either, I'm just desperate to know what happened with my nanny or what I did to her, as Darren said.

Walking around the house, the house has been too busy since the Coopers' arrival. I've met more family members, most on Aunt Gabby's and Uncle Caleb's side.

Uncle Caleb is Grandpa Cooper's brother, and Aunt Gabby is his seventh wife, the second to bear him children.

She is a lot younger than Uncle Caleb and had more plastic surgery histories than someone who suffered eighty percent fire burns.
