Chapter 6- Aphrodisiac.

Seth’s POV

Those eyes that crawled under my skin as I looked through the shadows all through these years.

Something about him never sat well with me, his fox-like eyes. Even if he looked clean, I couldn't help but suspect there’s something rotten under his skin.

“Is there anything I may help you with, Elder Valen?”

He finally stepped out of the shadows. “It appears I lost my way.”

This old fox.

“Mhm-hm.”

He didn’t respond for a moment but when he did, his voice was quieter. “How is it possible I didn't know about the king’s new mysterious aide?”

Suspicion. I guess it is only right that I raise suspicion among the elders. A weird man suddenly cozying up to the king was no joke.

“The lie about being lost almost got me.” I murmured, turning my back on him.

“I’m curious.”

“Well, I’m the son of a distant cousin of the queen mother.” I lied, with a smile on my face.

“I know of all her relatives but how come I haven’t heard of you?” He replied calmly, though his voice showed he didn’t believe me.

“If you don’t believe me then go ask her.”

“That’s not necessary. Since you said so then I’ll believe you.” He said. “I have the feeling we would be great friends.”

Not even if the heavens fell.

“I hate being friends with older men.” I exhaled. “Not just my type.”

He laughed out loud. “You are funny. That’s exactly why we should be friends. I wouldn’t want that funny tongue ripped off.” He said, his voice was so low and smooth that I almost didn’t get that he was threatening me.

Was that a threat? I really wanted to laugh out loud.

“Is that a threat, Elder Valen?”

“It doesn’t have to be.”

That was what this whole conversation was all about. He wanted me on his side.

“Think about it. I really hope we can be friends.” He walked into the shadows.

“Was I supposed to be scared by this act?” I whispered to myself when he left.

I got back to the party but I couldn’t see Vaelor and Elias.

“Where have you been?” Lister shouted at me.

“Mind yourself!” Cassian snapped at him. “Do not talk to his highness like that.”

“What happened?” I asked.

“His Majesty is gone. So is that man too.” Lister replied. “You have to do something.”

As if the night could get any worse.

“They’re probably together.” I sighed.

“His Majesty is drunk. We can’t leave him with that man.” He snapped.

“Mind. Yourself.” Cassian warned him again.

As much as I would like to off his tongue for talking to me like that, Lister was right. Vaelor wasn’t really a man of virtue so there’s no telling what he would do to Elias.

“I’ll go find him.”

I walked straight to Vaelor’s room, the door was open. It has the same smell as him.

Musk.

Elias laid on the bed unconscious.

And naked.

I looked up, my eyes meeting Vaelor’s, who was sitting on the bed. “Wha—what did you do to Elias?”

“What could I possibly do with a naked man?” He said with that disgusting smirk on his face.

“You disgusting bastard!”

“For the record, he came to me.”

“You are a liar too.” I hissed.

“We didn’t do anything.” He muttered. At that moment I felt relieved. “But he really did come onto me. Saying how much he hates me but he couldn’t help but wonder how big I was.”

Lies. Elias wouldn’t say things like that.

I blinked twice, snapping out of it. “Ridiculous. Where are his clothes?”

“He messed it up. I had the maids remove them.”

I wrapped Elias with the beddings and tried carrying him out but before I got to the door, Vaelor yanked me.

“I didn’t give you permission to take him yet. Not like that.”

Then he sprayed a powder on my face. The sweet smell made my mouth water.

“Get off me!” I pushed him off me.

But he just let out that usual grin that he always had on.

“Son of a—”

Shit.

I could feel something stirring in me. What did he do to me?

“What did you do to me?” I tried to shout but it came out as a whisper. My legs were shaking, I held the wall for support.

“That powder? What’s in it?” I asked.

He didn’t respond.

“Answer me!!” I demanded again.

He smirked. “Firebloom pollen.”

My stomach dropped. A rare aphrodisiac used by nobles.

“You insane bastard.” I took a step towards him, but my knees gave out.

“Seems my hands slipped. You really shouldn’t smell that, you know?”

As I landed on the floor, I noticed I was already hard. “Ah..! Calm down!”

“Get up. I’ll help you.” He said, his fingers brushing against my cock. “W-wait! Don’t touch me there!”

But actually something in me wanted him to touch me more.

“Does it hurt? Want me to help?”

My face seems to have turned red. Not this man. I shouldn’t let this disgusting tyrant touch me.

But. That was the only way to stop this. I glanced at Elias sleeping. He looked far too gone.

“I really will kill you this time.” I murmured.

“You just need to say the word and I’ll help you.”

I didn’t want help from this bastard. What if he uses this for an excuse to ask for more.

“Please. Help me.” I heard myself beg. “Make it stop.”

He brought his tongue down on mine. It was like he was devouring me. Although it felt good, I just wanted him to touch me down there.

I hoped by the time I wake up tomorrow, it would all be a dream. Mere hallucinations like the one I had when I was locked up.

I gasped as his hands rubbed and stroked me slowly. His movements are faster than the last.

I watched as he licked and caressed my body. “Stop that.” My voice came out strained. He didn’t care, he just kept going until I passed out.

The next morning, I woke up in my room.

With just undergarments and a slight headache.

“It must have been a dream.” I mumbled as I looked around. “Perhaps I might have a slight fever that makes me dream about that bastard.”

“Cassian!” I called.

He rushed in.

“Last I remembered I was talking to you and Lister. How did I end up here? And where is Elias? Did that man touch him?”

Too many questions. He probably thinks I’ve gone mad.

“You were in your room when we checked on you. And your brother is lying in his room.”

I let out a sigh of relief.

“Did anything happen, your highness?”

“No, no, no.”
