27. She Was Freezing To Death

Third Person's POV:

Up until this moment, Isabel had only entertained suspicions of Mason's potential affair. But with Mason's admission of infidelity and his declaration of love for Addison, Isabel felt as though her soul had been wrenched from her body. Tears streamed down her cheeks uncontrollably, betraying the depth of her anguish.

As Isabel's tears fell, Mason couldn't help but chuckle sarcastically, relishing in the pain he had inflicted upon her. Her hurt was evident, and he found a sick satisfaction in witnessing it.

"Aw, does it hurt to hear that I'm cheating on you and that I love Addison?" Mason's mocking tone cut through the air, his words intended to wound Isabel further.

Isabel bit her lip in a futile attempt to rein in her emotions, but the image of her husband with another woman tore at her already fragile heart. She wanted to scream at Mason, to make him understand the agony of his betrayal, but she felt powerless to do so, convinced she had no right to voice her
