Chapter 19: Dark Night

ACCORDING to the original plot of the novel, if I remember it correctly, and I still do, the Empress who was furious that the assassin she hired has fallen in love with the Crown Prince, she used her son, the 2nd Prince to approach the young lady (assassin) and find out more about her. She wanted her darkest secrets, something she could use to shackler her once again. But despite all her efforts, not only did her son fall in love with her, but Claire--despite having the same name as my enemy--was completely freed from her shackles and lived by her own rules. The Crown Prince and Claire overcame all the obstacles and lived happily ever after.

But before everything else, there was a part in the novel where the 2nd Prince had the idea to kidnap the heroine and elope with her. But because he loved her genuinely as much as the Crown Prince does, he didn't go on with it and giving all hope, he followed his Mother until the end. His love became his own shackle,
