Alex had a doubt gnawing at the back of his mind. It made sense—Adrian had already warned him there was an insider supporting his ruin. And now, the inside man was caught. Clearly, Paul had sounded himself out.

But Adrian wasn’t done revealing what he knew.

The way he put the question was as though the man had poisoned countless people.
