The soft beeps of machinery could be faintly heard in the white room, doused with the distinct smell of disinfectants.

Dr Martin adjusts his glasses with satisfaction just after checking up on Felicity. He jots down a few words on a note board, concluding the checkup for the night.

It seems he would have to report the same results to the lord again; after several days none of the two women had gained consciousness though everything seemed fine and their conditions were very much improved.

With one last glance at the two patients in the ward, he slides his pen into his breast pocket; not to worry though, they would surely turn up sooner than later.

With that, Dr Martin exited the room, and with a 'click' secured the door behind him.

Isadora's eyelids parts almost immediately. She glances at the door to confirm that they were alone again.
