Very kind heart

Among abandoned houses that have already turned into a real labyrinth, stopping in front of a broken wall, Adelard wiped the sweat from his forehead and took a small notebook from his bag.  On the first page was the address written in capital letters: GREEN LIGHT FARM.  And next to these words was written finely and neatly: Madame Lucy. 

Putting the notebook back in his bag, Adelard relaxed his shoulders and fixed his anxious gaze into the distance, where sea and sky became one.

And this landscape was visible through the broken wall, the bricks of which were scattered everywhere. 

Hearing the disturbing sounds of the sea, Adelard lifted his head up.  The hot sun rays were ready to reach his very soul.  There was no one around.  Even birds, even insects.  He was completely alone.  On an empty part of the town, where the echoes of the past dwelt.
