Alyssa suddenly woke up because of thirst. She looked around as she rubbed her right eye. She notices that her husband was standing while turning his back.
She wondered what it was doing, but he didn’t ask because it might make him angry again. She stood up and walked out of the room.
When suddenly her husband asked, “Where are you going?”
She turned in his direction and asked as her finger pointed to herself, “Are you talking to me?”
“Who do you think am I talking, too? When it was only the two of us?” he answered sarcastically.
Alyssa was irritated by the sarcastic response of her husband, but she still answered him calmly because she knew she had nothing against him.
