The truth revealed

As they stepped out of the party, Celess felt a sense of relief wash over her. The air outside was cool and crisp, and she took a deep breath, enjoying the feeling of freedom.

But as they walked down the deserted street, she couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had been nagging at her all night.

"Steve, what's going on?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Steve turned to look at her, his blue eyes dark and troubled. "I think we're being followed," he said.

Celess felt a chill run down her spine. "Followed? By who?"

"I don't know," Steve said, his voice low. "But I have a feeling it's someone dangerous."

Celess felt a surge of fear, but she knew that she couldn't let it show. "What should we do?" she asked.

"We need to keep moving," Steve said, taking her hand again. "Stay close to me."
