I have no idea why I went and watched Jackson getting his chest piece finished. I have no desire to get one. Tattoos don’t appeal to me. Something within me told me I needed to be with Sienna, and I wouldn’t argue. I can’t explain it to myself, much less to her. I knew she had caught on that I was acting weird. I wasn’t sure what I would tell her when she got here after school today. Derick was just as nervous. We had pulled him into my office the next day after our talk with Brielle at Sienna’s place. I am unsure who was more shocked to learn that one side of her family had once been hunters. I do remember when that happened. I knew the family she was speaking of, and they had been a thorn in the supernatural world for generations. I was not saddened to hear that they had been attacked and killed. I did feel bad that Brielle and her family had tried to distance themselves from that part of the family only to be used as a pawn. Evan has been here every night after getting
Oh, my god, I am going to kill this girl. I swear she has no self-preservation, and where the hell is Quade? I had been out talking with everyone I knew and a few contacts I hadn’t spoken to when I walked into the cafe. I shouldn’t be surprised that she is sitting in her usual booth with books and papers in front of her. She sips her large iced blackberry vanilla mocha and munching on some pastry. I have no idea how she drinks that overly sweet crap, but she does. I heave out a sigh and slide into the seat across from her. I could feel her roll her eyes as I sat down. “Before you ask, I could smell your cologne. You are the only guy I know that wears that shit.” Sienna states. “Fair; where is Quade?” I ask. “He is in class. We only have one class together. I know Luca told you that he wouldn’t be glued to me. He should be here in half an hour when his class gets out.” She adds. “You should take your safety more seriously. We still have no idea where Cavallo is, and
I have been scouring every book I have for the last fucking three days, and I still can’t find anything about a Phoenix. The information I have found is very limited. It is basically everything we told and not much more. I did speak with Cecilia, and she said that if this Anyia was friends with Bernard’s grandmother, then it is highly probable that she never truly disappeared. Still, since a Phoenix is “reborn” every few years, maybe her physical appearance changed enough that no one in the castle recognised her. She said that Anyia might have followed the royal children the whole time. If that is true, then I will bet that she is the one who raised Asher; as to why she adopted William, I guess only she can answer that. Now I just need to find this woman. Of course, finding a Phoenix isn’t so fucking easy. Bernard and Bianca flew back home this morning. Liam is looking for Anyia there, but I feel she is here. I drag my ass out to my car. I am heading to the cafe. Sienna sho
“Where is she?” I ask. “She is being transferred to a room right now.” Jackson tells me. “Denver was driving, so he was injured the most. He is still in surgery. They hit the car on the driver's side. Avalon was in the back seat on the driver’s side. Thankfully they were in Denver’s big-ass SUV, and the vehicle that hit them was smaller. The collision was just hard enough, and the other car was speeding, so it caused Denver’s car to spin a couple of times. It spun tight into a building. RIght now, everyone one is being seen and placed into a room.” Jackson explains. I sink into the closest chair. Jackson, Rico, and Viktor do the same. I can tell they are thinking the same thing I am. Quade comes in along with Whitney, who is crying. Jackson stands up and wraps his sister in his arms as she starts sobbing. Quade sits down beside Rico. Jackson hands Whitney to him, and Quade pulls her into his lap. I am about to lose my shit when the doctor walks in. I sighed in rel
Fuck me, I haven’t been in a car accident before, and I am going to make sure as fuck not to get in another one ever. Not that Denver planned or meant to get into the accident but still. My whole fucking body hurts. Then again, it has only been two days since the accident. I am sitting in the room with Evan. I haven’t been that much help to him, but he isn’t complaining. I tried yesterday, but after five minutes of looking at the computer screen, I vomited in the bathroom. It also gave me a massive headache. Luca was not happy with me, but he knew I couldn’t sit in our room the whole time. We did go to the school yesterday morning and spoke with my professors. I guess Lainey, Avalon, and Denver had done the same. I was not surprised to find out that most professors were supernatural, and most had already heard what happened. I knew my professors wouldn’t have an issue. I am way ahead in most of my classes anyways, so they weren’t that concerned about me missing this week.
I may hate sitting in this class and listening to this boring ass professor talks in his monotone voice, but I would rather be here than stuck in that damn castle any longer. I love the castle, and I love everyone who lives there, but if I had to be stuck in there one more fucking I might have committed murder. I have no idea who I would have killed, but someone would have died. I jumped up when the class was over. I was the first one out as I ran down the hall. I screamed when an arm wound around my waist, pulling me to a stop. I pried myself away from whoever this was, and as I turned, I lifted my arm. If this asshole wanted to try something, he would get beaten for his attempt. My hand was caught as I swung around, and I was looking into two pools of clear blue eyes. “Dammit, what the hell are you doing here,” I asked. “Luca asked me to come to get you. I didn’t mean to scare you. I didn’t think you would try and hit me either.” Derick answers. “What do you expect whe
This has gone on long enough. I understand that Avalon has been through something, but the last straw was witnessing Whitney break down because Jackson was hurting. I promised Sienna I would stay out of it, but that is no longer an option. I told Whitney to let Jackson know that we will be having a meeting. She asked why, and I told her it was to clear up some shit. She still looked confused, but I didn’t want to say much to Avalon. “Ok, so why are were here?” Sienna asked. I had told her why I was having this meeting, and to my surprise, she wasn’t pissed at me like I expected her to be. I asked her why she was not mad, and she told me that Jackson was her friend and that it was time Avalon told us what the fuck was going on. I knew she was trying to give Avalon time to work her shit out, but when she saw Whitney sobbing and Jackson walking in today for the meeting, she was just as done with Avalon’s shit as I was. Avalon fidgeted in her seat when Jackson walked in, but a
We have had a few people watching Sienna for a few weeks now. They were told not to do anything but watch her for now. I was pissed when I heard she and a couple of her friends had been in an accident. I was about to go off on someone when we were told that two drunk humans ran a light and hit them. Donatello had chosen the four guys we had to watch Sienna with, and I trusted him to choose the best we had. What I hadn’t expected was only two of them to come back. The fact that they had the shit beat out of them was also a shock. I was pissed that two of them had been caught. Paulina was just as pissed as I was. Zeke was no help. I am not sure what Paulina has told him, but he has become exceedingly annoying since we arrived here. I know that Paulina has not told him that we are here. I have only communicated with him through Paulina. Zeke is of no use to me at the moment. If he were still on the council, then he would be of more use, but the fucking idiot got himself kick
