Six months Later

I lean back in my chair, looking down at the little girl lying on my bare chest. My little Iyrandi was born two days ago. She was born a month earlier than expected, but she is perfect. She is tiny with a head of chestnut brown hair and eye, the perfect mix of mine and her mother's. She looks more like Sienna, which I am fine with. She is perfect and is my little princess. I glance over at her mother, who is sleeping on our bed. I was surprised at how smoothly the delivery went. I was terrified that she was a month early, but everything turned out fine. I carefully stand up, place my little princess down, and quickly slip a shirt on. I pick her back up as Tigo makes himself known. I look down at the little demon. They have been fascinated with my little princess since we returned home. They slept in the crib with her last night. I feared they might lay on her, but they were cuddled along Sienna when I woke this morning.
