LOGINAmbrosia POV:
Today I was going with Pythia and Delilah to support her teaching a class full of students. We decided it was best that we bring our kids so that they can see how they interact with a large wolf. Pythia has made me sit through a series of things to make sure she was ready for literally anything even though I told her that no matter how much she preps for this it still wouldn't prepare her for the random odd questions kids have. It's been a few days since I have heard from Xander and I wondered what he was up to. Pythia was coming here first so that she could hide the siphon and surround it with a fire trap just in case Xander tries anything or if he sends someone to do his dirty work like he does at times. I still remember when we were just kids, he would always send his toughest friends to try to fight me because he knew he wouldn't have a chance.
I must admit that those goons were good practice for me but it showed me early on that Xander wanted me as far from the picture as he could possibly push me and I never understood why. Even growing up I would stand up for him and fight his battles but even so he still tried to take me out several times. When our parents died they left me to rule with the castle but gave him everything overseas. It was where he wanted to be so that is what they granted him. Looking back I'm not sure where he got the hunger for power from, both our parents ruled with an iron fist but were fair in what they did. They never once tried to overthrow anyone, they preferred to stay to themselves much like I was until I made the alliance with Alley. Did Xander have a son out there somewhere? Surely I would have known about that right? Word does get around fairly quickly unless he has hidden a part of him away completely. "Stop stressing so much about it." Sage said. "It's hard not to, he wants my siphon for a reason and we need to figure out what that reason is." I replied.
I sent Braxton and Troy to run around and see if Xander has visited anyone else and so far they have come up empty. It's been a bit frustrating but there is nothing I can do about it if he moves quietly. "We are here!" Pythia yelled through the house. I stood to my feet and walked towards the door, "Aunt Ambrosia!" Apollo yelled and ran straight for me. I picked him up and hugged him "Hey little man!" I said before I set him back down on his feet. "Why don't you go play with Artemis and Ari in the play room?" I said smiling. He ran off up their stairs before I heard more screeching. I walked over to see the twins were sleeping soundly in their stroller. "Courtney!" I yelled out. She has been the best help I could have ever found, she was a beautiful young lady with strawberry blonde hair and hazel eyes. "Aw, the twins! I have heard so much about them. I'll take them so you two can handle what you need to." Courtney said cheerfully.
She has been waiting to see them and I told her that they would be over today. "If they wake up before we are back just yell for me." Pythia said looking down at them. "They will be fine for a few moments, we won't be that long." I said gently. It's crazy for me to think how we all boarder line hated each other some years ago to where we all are now. I couldn't think of my life without any of them and I thank the goddess for the first fight that officially brought Jackson and I together. I still remember when I first laid eyes on him and felt the pull but I ignored it. I wasn't sure if he had felt it truth be told and I never asked him about it. I just put distance between us and ran from it. I've always been hard on myself when it came to love and I never thought I was worthy of it until I finally gave in and let it consume me. "Okay let's go before I change my mind." Pythia said taking a deep breath. "Delilah please stay with them." She said looking over to Delilah who snorted in return.
We walked down the hallway until we reached a door that led to the basement. "You keep it down here?" Pythia asked. "Yes, not many people know we have a basement but I had it built to keep it safely down here." I said as I turned on the light. I walked to the far corner where a hidden store was put in and pushed it open. There stood my siphon in a glass case. Pythias eyes widened as she walked forward. "I remember you throwing this thing in front of me when Bartholomews crazy girlfriend was fighting me." Pythia said, looking closer at it. "It will go wherever I throw it, it's much like your elements. All I have to do is picture where I want it to go and go it shall." I replied. "What is the crystal thing that is in it?" Pythia asked. "That is where the power is harnessed, it flows throughout the entire thing but that is where it starts." I replied. "I've never seen anything like it. It's really cool. What was it forged with?" Pythia asked. "It was forged by all of the elements. I wasn't told many details about it, only the important ones." I replied. "Can I touch the glass?" Pythia asked. "Yes, just not the siphon itself." I replied.
Pythia raised her hands and gently placed them on the glass, she closed her eyes and whispered a chant that I was not familiar with. I felt the air shimmer before she backed away. "It will be hidden from everyone except me, you and Jackson. I've also put a repellant around this room laced with fire. People won't know why they are scared of this area but it will put enough fear in them to stay away from this hidden door and room entirely." Pythia said, looking at me. Her eyes were a swirl of different colors before they settled back on the blue and green they normally are. "Thank you for doing this. I think I am going to install some cameras down here as well just to be extra safe." I said as we started walking back towards the door. "I think that would be a good idea to do so. Does Xander normally try to do things without your knowledge?" Pythia asked. "Ever since we were kids he has. I don't understand him truthfully, I thought I was a good big sister but I guess not." I replied quietly. "You are more than a good sister, if he can't see that then he can fuck off but never doubt yourself." Pythia said sternly.
I turned off the lights and we started making our way back up the stairs and I felt my mind go at ease knowing it is hidden better. "Are you ready to teach a class?" I asked, trying to change the subject. "I am so nervous but I am glad you will be there. You've done this before so you can jump in if I am rambling on about something." Pythia said lightly. "You will do just fine, Let's get all the kids and we can head out." I said closing the basement door. When we got back to the living room Pythia walked over to the twins while I walked upstairs to get the others. I opened the door to see they were building something with blocks. "Are you three ready to go?" I asked, gaining their attention. "To the big school?" Artemis asked. "Yes, Aunt Pythia is going to be teaching a class so I need the three of you to be on your best behavior okay?" I said. They all nodded but I knew them too well. "You may bring a couple toys to occupy yourselves." I added. I watched as they grabbed up all the blocks and put them away but Apollo held tightly to them.
When they were finished getting the toys they wanted we started making our way down the stairs. "Courtney, why don't you come with us." I said looking at her. "I would love to, I can help watch the kids." Courtney said. As we put the kids in their strollers and got all the bags gathered up we were finally ready. Pythia placed a hand on me and a hand on the stroller while I placed a hand on the stroller and one on Courtney. She raised her hand and touched Delilah and the bags and in the blink of an eye we were standing in front of the newly built school. When we walked in, the bubbly assistant that always greets me stood to her feet and smiled. "Welcome ladies! I'm so glad you are all here. Come with me and I'll take you to the class." She said walking forward. She hit a button on the side and both doors opened so that Delilah had enough room to get through without breaking them. As we walked through the hallway some of the kids stopped to gawk at the large black wolf that was trailing behind us while some of them took out their phones to either take a photo or take a video.
When we got to the room we walked to the front and started getting settled in when the bell rang. The kids were not bothered by the noise instead Courtney gathered them in the back and helped them unpack their toys. Delilah laid to the side by Pythia while I stepped to the back. "Ah miss Pythia, so nice to meet you, I'm Jonathan." He said, extending his hand out to her. She shook his hand and smiled as the classroom started to fill in with students. "Everyone get in your seats so we can begin." Jonathan said loudly. Pythia looked at me over her shoulder and I smiled gently at her. She took a deep breath as the last bell sounded off and the room became quiet. "Hello, I'm Pythia and I am the dark witch queen." Pythia said easily. A young girl raised her hand and Pythia nodded at her, "I heard you also decided peoples fate. Is that true?" She asked. Pythia smiled widely, "It is but we will get into that in a bit. I am here to explain who dark witches truly are and who we have become since we have made peace with the other races." Pythia replied easily.
I listened as she told her story of the dark witches from the very beginning to when they helped create vampires, I watched as their eyes shifted to me when she spoke of it and then back to her. She explained their true nature is to actually help where others can not tap into the dark magic that they can. "So you killed your own mom?" A boy asked. "I did. You see, my mother wanted all the power of white magic and dark witches can't touch it. If they do they will combust instantly and that was something I would never allow to happen so I did what I had to do to get us to where we are today." Pythia replied. "But you can use white magic?" A girl blurted out. "Yes, I am a mixed race. My mother was the dark witch queen while my father was a white witch giving me the chance to use it but as time went on I discovered that I am the great granddaughter of the night goddess and therefore I am the bringer of light and the bringer of dark. I hold the balance and decide if people deserve a second chance and where they shall spend their after life." Pythia replied.
She went on to explain why Delilah is not within her and all eyes fell on Delilah. "So she is one of the biggest wolves?" A girl asked. "Yes, she has powers of her own that she still shares with me, we know peoples true intentions and we can feel all of your emotions. When she fights she knows where you attack before you even do so. Delilah can you stand up please." Pythia said, looking at her. Delilah slowly stood to her feet and gasps erupted in the room. The moment she stood up the three kids ran straight to her running around under her feet. "So that is normal for your kids? She just lets them do whatever they want to?" A girl asked, making us both laugh. Pythia looked back at me and I stepped forward. "There are only two wolves that are out like this. The rest of them have hosts. Delilah loves the children and she is very protective of her family." I said easily. Delilah laid back down to show the classroom that she doesn't care if our little ones climb all over her. "So you have a wolf?" A boy asked. "I do, her sister actually." I replied. "Can we see?" A girl asked as her eyes widened. "Sage will you behave?" I asked quickly. "Yes, promise." Sage replied.
Pythia took a step back before I let Sage take control and shift us. We looked down at Delilah who growled at us, surprising the classroom. "They are fine, that is a way for them to communicate." Pythia said quickly. "Dark witches have helped wolves find their mates throughout the years until a wedge was forced between all the races, we were once who everyone turned to for literally anything. With us fighting the two battles we have, we have fought to the peace we so badly wanted to bring back." Pythia added. "We heard rumors of those fights but we didn't know what caused them." Jonathan said. I shifted back and smiled. "Well how we all came together the first time is an interesting story, none of us trusted each other and we made each other fight to see how worthy we all were for the first fight." I replied with a smile remembering how I made Alley and then fought a bunch of newborns. "What about the second one?" A girl asked. Pythia looked at me and smiled. "That is because I wanted to keep the peace and Ambrosia killed an elder." Pythia replied, making me laugh.
All eyes fell on me, "I did kill her and she deserved it after threatening our children. You see we found out that Pythia and I have a close connection because before we all broke off in to our own covens vampires were created to protect the dark witches from all threats, and the strongest vampire warrior was to protect the king or queen and that was a bond that could only be broken in death." I said. "So you are the strongest warrior?" Jonathan asked. "I am, and I am the queen of vampires. I will always protect my family from anything and everyone." I replied. "If you would like to pet Delilah you may do so, if you have more questions, please feel free to ask while you are up here." Pythia announced. all the kids practically ran out of their chairs and down to Delilah. "Artemis, Ari, Apollo please come over here." I called out. They all grunted but went back to Courtney who was sitting on the floor waiting for them. We watched as the kids piled around Delilah, amazed by her. "See, I told you it isn't that bad." I whispered. "It actually came a lot easier than I thought it would." Pythia replied.
I was always amazed by the humans, they were so fragile but they were intrigued by anything. I was expecting some of them to be fearful but they surprised me yet again for their thirst for knowledge. Maybe one day we could all teach the history of our races in a classroom such as this. I know I certainly wouldn't mind doing it if it meant we continued to make progress.
Ambrosia POV: It's been a few weeks and we are finally getting on track with everything. Alley gave birth to twins girls, Harper and Madison. They were the cutest little things and were perfectly mixed between her and Stephen. Pythia also gave birth to her daughter Talia, she looked just like Tye in my opinion but we haven't really seen much of each other since things have been so busy. Jackson and the other alphas have been busy setting up their side of the wolf councils while Xander was running around setting ours up since I was not able to do that at the moment. "Knock knock!" Julie yelled out, "I'm in the kitchen!" I replied as I was putting dishes away. "I came by to check on the triplets, are they awake?" Julie asked. "Not right now, Sage is in the room with them." I replied. "Alright, it can wait then. I'm sure they will be up later today." Julie said setting her bag down. "What can I help with?" She asked. "Oh, you don't have to help it's alright." I replied. "Move, go sit
Ambrosia POV: Everyone was throwing things around to help get me ready while Jackson laid me on the bed and Julie helped get me situated. "Well I guess they didn't want to wait, how is the pain level right now? Ready for meds or anything?" Julie asked grabbing her machine while the other nurses started an IV and checked my blood pressure. "Sage is back with me so it isn't bad, we are going to do this naturally." I replied taking deep breaths. "Alright, it seems all of them are head down but I am going to have to push two back while one comes out so it is going to be a little bit uncomfortable but I'd say you have a little bit longer." Julie replied nodding at the screen. I knew the next part would be uncomfortable, I held Jacksons hand as Julie checked my dilation, "Yeah, we have a little time. I'll get you some ice chips." Julie added standing back up. "Thank you Julie." Jackson said as she walked out of the door. "What can I do for you?" Jackson asked looking down at me. "Will y
Ambrosia POV: When we got down to the cells I heard Lucinda and Athea talking with Malachi about who we all really were and how we did things over here and it made me feel better knowing they were still here waiting for us to get back. "Speaking of our ladies, how did it go?" Lucinda asked looking around until she set her eyes on Celeste. "Things went really well, I'd like you to meet Celeste." I replied with a smile. Malachis head snapped up and his eyes were wide as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Malachi!" Celeste yelled as she ran to him. It warmed my heart to see the two of them embrace, even with everything going on at least I can say we have done some good. "How is he doing?" I asked giving them a moment alone. "He is doing wonderful, a gentle soul." Athea replied. Celeste looked up and at the two sisters, "Oh um hello." Celeste said. "Hello, I'm so glad you decided to stay here with all of them, they'll take care of you." Athea replied with a smile. "They help
Ambrosia POV: We were all getting ready to leave to go and meet Celeste and I was a little nervous. We decided that Jackson, Sage, Xander and Hotch would be down on the ground with me, Alley, Pythia, Stephen and Tye would stay inside the territory while half of the guardians surrounded us in the trees. We would all be well protected that way and it put everyones mind at ease. "The moon is just about in place, shall we go?" Jackson asked holding my hand. I nodded my head. "Alright, up in the trees and run ahead." Xander said looking around. I had Jackson on my left, Xander slightly in front of me and Hotch to my right while Sage stood behind us. Xander wanted it that way so that I was boxed in which I didn't mind. I heard a soft growl behind me and I turned to see Brads wolf standing next to Sage and I smiled at him. "He wanted to come." Jackson said shrugging his shoulders. "Thank you for coming with us." I said smiling at him, he bowed his head slightly and I turned back forward.
Ambrosia POV: When we got down to the cells I could hear them shuffling things around. I turned the corner to see that Xander had put duct tape all around his hands to keep him from scratching anyone and a muzzle around his face in case he wanted to try to bite anyone. "Has he said anything?" I asked. "No, just keeps laughing randomly. I think he is literally insane." Xander replied. I wasn't even sure if he could have a full conversation given how far along the infection was. "What is your name?" I asked looking at him. The very sight of him made my skin crawl, he stared right back at me with a large smile on his face. "I'm trying to do this the nice way so that we don't have to invade your head. What is your name." I asked in a harsher tone. The smile dropped from his face, it was more of a disgust look. "Malachi." He growled. "Good, now we are starting to get somewhere. Why are you here?" I asked. "To see the false queen of course. Warning. Future relevance. Death." Malachi re
Ambrosia POV: I didn't think it was possible to send a large group of people in to shock but here we are, standing on this stage looking out among our group who stood motionless. "If anyone has any questions you may ask them now." Athea said looking around. "So these pills will help prevent us from getting the infection? How do you know that it works?" A woman asked. "Because someone here had the infection but we caught it early enough to treat it. She was confined in a house but she is now among all of you fully healed." I replied. That got people moving a little bit, they were trying to figure out who had it but no one was going to tell them. "Is it just one dose of it or do we take multiple?" A man asked. "Once a month you need to take two pills, we are going to make sure everyone is fully stocked in case someone does get the infection, at that time they will need two doses a day until the infection is completely gone." Pythia replied. "So do we need to be involved with the oth
