Debra's Pov
"Hey, Dad. Are you there?" I mind-linked him taking a long breath, grabbing the bed sheet in fear that he would start criticizing me for running away from Blackwood right after he hears me.
"Gemma, my girl. Am I hearing you for real? Oh my Devil, finally I got to hear your voice." Dad raised his voice softly in tension.
"Yes, Dad. It's your gemma. I am so sorry Dad for leaving you all and not understanding your love." I spoke in mind link, dropping tears from my eyes right down to my cheeks.
For the first time, I was extremely joyed to hear his voice and felt warmth in his voice. It was like the warmth from the family which I was always deprived of.
"No love, we should have focused on your choice and decision too instead of forcing with pack rules but Gemma, we have always loved you. Now tell me, where are you? I can't wait to see your face, Gemma?" He uttered and wished to see me as soon as possible.
