"And Debra, what do you think about my son? Do you like him? " his Dad fires with quite an unexpected question which for a moment left me in astonishment.
Firing with unexpected questioned, I turned to Karien and raised my brows stating to him that their question was making me uncomfortable.
"It's okay if you want to keep your relationship secret." His mom patted on my thigh and grinned and this made me even more awkward.
I mean, me with Karien... No way or I would say we could have ended up together if I was human like him however we couldn't be in a relationship right now.
I immediately shook my head and jumped from the sofa scaring all of them who were present in the hall.
"No...no....you are taking us in a wrong way. We are not a couple, not yet. We are just good friends, that's all." I muttered panicking before they continue their question about grandchild too. Their queries needed a full stop now.

I was craving soup too.” I hugged as I said and sat down on the chair waiting for my noodles and soup, my hands wrapped against each other and the mouse inside my stomach. “What about chicken soup, Debra?” Teresa asked again and my hearing sensation getting active as she mentioned chicken “I would love chicken. Go for it, mama.” I replied both of us chuckled with my sentence. She went busy making noodles for me and I stand to help her in cleaning which she left incomplete after I enter the kitchen.
