The Battle V

Klaus' panicking mind came to rest when he saw that the palace was unusually quiet.

What came to his mind was that Mateo wasn't at home.

However,as he stepped into his chamber's and locked the door the light in the room turned on.

"Well,well, well.." began Mateo "Look who we have here!"

Klaus began to tremble

"What exactly is it,father? There was a time you'd beat me up and tell me to be more stronger so I can defeat Aiden and get the throne."

"There was a time when you called me a weakling and ridiculed the fact that I couldn't be as ruthless as you wanted me to be!"

"You alone taught me never to give my enemies second chance."

He got up from the couch.

"Here I am.Exactly how you wanted me to be" he shook his head "Now you don't want me anymore?"

"The same mouth of yours that urged me to kill Aiden and secure the throne is the same mouth you have used,today.."

He paused and continued "..to urge Aiden to defeat me or even possibly kill me and secure the throne"
